most comedians suck, but i'd say my favorites are david
cross and demetri martin. does anyone watch the flight of
the conchords at all? genius stuff.

mitch hedberg, david cross, georgle carlin, dmitri martin,
zack galifainakis...

also of note are robin william's first stand-up video and
frank caliendo's comedy central presents.

if you have the chance, find the uncensored version of mitch
hedberg's comedy central presents. he completely bombed, the
audience didn't get his jokes at all, and he is drunk as
fuck, trying desperately to get a laugh. it's incredibly
awkward and hilarious, a shame the destroyed the act with
the uber-cut-up tv airing (~39 min cut down to 21)

his prime

mitch hedberg, david cross. watched some demetri martin and
downloading his album. some other stuff is funny too, but i
really have to check out more stuff.
julian barratt is a much funnier stand-up than noel fielding
(in myyy opinion, though both are funny).

Because of his personality. If someone else delivered his
lines, i doubt i would like it as much. It's just this shaky
drugged up guy, making weird and kind of innocent
observations. Fun!

"whenever i have a big group of friends take a picture, i
always make sure that we sit clockwise, so that we are
easily identifiable."

while many of his lines are brilliant, his delivery really
is at the heart of his performance.
