moving...

yesterday was a sad day. from this, i came to the
conclusion that where i am right now is destroying me. while
i know i wont find happiness in moving, i feel that i need
to get away from my family, work, the people i know and the
life i have here. now i must decide where to move and when
to do it...

Same with me. I hate where I am, and I know I need to get
out of here, but I can't imagine where I'll go, or what I'll
do. I basically hate everyone I know, ANYWHERE would be
better than here, I guess... but it looks like I'll be here
at least one more year.

I don't have the balls to move, yet... hopefully you'll
figure something out. Personally, I want to move to Great
Britain, I belong there, I think.

denver is looking more prospective because i've got a friend
up there that i could stay with and it's closer. i was born
in california and it feels like it's trying to bring me
back...

ugh denver is only calling your name because she's a filthy
slut, move to rhode island, it's much better over here, with
the fresh low tide smell, and the exquisite pot

lived in detroit...

perhaps b/c it reminds of all the things about yourself/your
life that you dislike.....at the risk of sounding corny, the
move you need to make in my opinion is inisde, check out the
book Zen and the Brain

zen zen zen zen zen...
idunno, that may help but external stimuli is also nice, and
if you're in a bad position (even if it's all in your head)
a change of settings can help a little- but in the end i
think the storm is probably right, and no matter what you
do- you have to make yourself happy.

offline Zen Storm from St. Charles (United States) on 2002-03-26 21:01 [#00144075]
Points: 1044 Status: Lurker

i'm not saying to sort your head out friend, and i
understand about the change of setting.....but you will soon
find yourself in the same situation.....learn to build the
change of setting in your mind.....a haven in your head that
you are always a part of, i'm not pushing Zen on anyone, i
really don't care, but this is what helped me

i'm not disagreeing with you, friend made of wood, in fact
everything you've said rings more or less true to my
situation- but that's what i expected- and to be honest i
don't think i'm depressed about it either (i know that
sounds like a contradiction but it's not) i feel happy- i
mean, life is tough- but at least i'm not dead, right?

the grass is always greener on the other side.
bullshit - its usually got far more seeds in it

actually going from detroit pot to rhode island pot saw a
pretty large difference in the amount of seeds- to put it
simply
detroit = shwag
warwick= ganja
