so, what do you prefer: 45 or 33 rpm? (it's 45 on the CD I
guess?)

I imagine it's bloody nice slower. BTW has anyone noticed
how your sitting there loving the beat and not even
realising that the kick is pretty non existent. I usually
hate that

33, still amazes me that they cut the cd at the wrong speed.

This track and Laughable butane bob are the highlights of
the whole release.

so it's supposed to be slower? the CD Release i have is 45
and so is the EP version, slowed down sounds good, but you
can tell by the pitch of the voice that its supposed to be
faster, right?

There are two versions of Laughable I have heard. One is the
regular song, and the other has a sample of a women saying
something like, "He's dead, oh God, he's dead. Let me out.
He's dead! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!".

Anyone else recognize both of the versions? I only heard the
one with the vocal sample back when I used to download tunes
off of WinMX and i was first discovering Aphex. The good
ole' days. :]

that was just Laughable Butane Bob mixed into the Blech II
compilation on Warp. just an added sample that one of the
Ninja Tune guys put in there.

yeah the beginning is cool where he uses that game-boy 8-bit
soudning synth to bring the melody in, and then rushes
inwith that awesome sliced-up drumsample

The whole HAB is an entirely different movement of direction
for AFX, enter jungle into the already wide-spread mix and
you get even more chaotic orchestrated madness from the man
himself.

Well known anagram - Hangable Auto Bulb = Analogue
Bubblebath minus one E

HAB was said to be re-released on CD because it was one of
Ricahrd's favorite album's he'd released
