I'd like to know what words you people like. Here are a few I like:
1. riboflavin (it's my favorite) 2. book (say it, and listen to how funny it sounds) 3. keen 4. devious 5. jabberwocky 6. disapositive (french word for "slides" as in those pictures you show on a screen)

I like to invent words as well. the word i made up for the white trail left by airplanes in the sky is "carlicletoe" (pronounce: Kar-'Li-kel-Toe) The word for the condition of having a foot missing is "germinthleotaurus" which comes from my sister's fancy. Opening the fridge, screaming into the fridge and closing the fridge is called "zamway."

poop totally kicks ass. it is kind of like book, but it is poop. Poop? I remember once when i was a kid in grade 3 or so, i was at my friend's birthday party, and he suddenly got up from the table and left. His mother said, "David, that's not very polite," to which he replied very quickly, "Got to go poop!" jumped while running to the can and threw his hand up in the air as if he just came up with a brilliant idea. my sister says "poopnpee" to be pronounced very fast, and the "n" part is almost "m"

JOEY: that french word we use also in german, and it´s spelled "diapositive" - not with the "s" in it ...
... ahem, don´t wanna suck, guess it´s more likely a typo, but i thought you can´t leave that man loving the words so much with a wrong spelling :)

hey, doki... my bad, a spelling error. but i have a flimsy explanation for it. here in quebec, the francophones always add way too many Ss to their words, so perhaps that is why i did it. for example, a french person from france would say diapositive and just pronounce it "di-a-po-zee-teev" but here in quebec, they would pronounce "Dsee-a-po-zee-tseev"
