Is it possible you may have developed an allergy to
something which used not to effect you? It sounds like you
might be having a very mild allergic reaction?

More likely, you're probably just stressed out, and drinking
a lot never really helps that.

Does your family have any history of high blood pressure?

I had a panic attack after a night of heavy drinking. Had no
idea what was happening, went to the hospital (was on the
way to a phillies game with many friends) and it cost me
6,400 because i didn't have health insurance.

They diagnosed it as 'heart palpatations' and gave me some
anxiety meds.

My friend once got holiday heart syndrome after a night of
everclear, and being rambunctious (track and field on
Dreamcast and wrestling a friend)

So my advice is, just get some fluids and relax

I have panic attacks all the time, have had so for years, to
the extent there about as bothersome as hiccups or trapped
gas, but they're still there, especially after heavy or
prolonged drinking. I had to have a clonazepam last night
after I saw my bank balance, I completely shit myself and
just wanted to be unconscious.

Do what Horsey says, mybe have a light beer to tide you over
later.

when u drink and fall asleep your body doesnt recharge or
rest properly. i tend to sleep off hangovers too becasue
drunk sleep doesnt reallly count. now get some sugar &
liquids inside you like i am atm :)

sometimes i have feeled a bit weird and worried the day
after i have got drunk, but never had a real panicattack, it
has passed rather quickly anyway.

Yeah I didn't actually have one... I was just feeling
realllly akward until I got some good sleep...now i'm fine.
I just need to set a limit, I can't drink like that, it's
rediculous.

yeah sounds good. i am having a brake myself from alcohol. i
havent drinked for 4 and a half month in may. i am going to
pick upp the drinking again in may, but maybe i will drink a
bit less and more controled then i used to drink, its really
unnecessary to get to drunk.

bollocks.

last few months i've been relying on drink to put me into a
coma at night, so that i actually can sleep.

grow some balls, "tragedy", and stop fucking whining. it's
just a fucking hangover

bit grouchy? perhaps it's lack of proper sleep. and if u
think alchohol doesnt affect levels of rem and deep sleep
you are living on another planet

that was a bad joke, since i could hardly sleep the previous
night...it might sound funny but some time ago i just
started feeling really bad the day after drinking a larger
amount of beer ...and not just "the hangover bad feeling"
kind....breathing problems and stuff....waking up at night,
sleeping problems...weird thing which made stop drinking
larger amounts of beer, since i don't feel that way at all
after drinking vodka/pepsi.

but no panic attacks yet, thank fuck ;)

i kinda agree with porick, it's your own fault

though i know hangovers can turn pretty evil on you when
you're not feeling too happy in general

lack of sleep is a large part of hangovers btw
