Could somebody be kind enough to add me (QRDL)?

My PS3 version has frozen twice in about 20 hours of
gameplay. And both times I was tapping the cinematic O
button in time to the Nas track on the radio.
Other than this minor annoyance the game is fucking
brilliant.

The music included in the game is also fucking brilliant.

I'm such a brainiac. I followed people who just left an ATM
and robbed them. Easy money. Then I spent it on hookers and
blow.

What still pisses me off is the fact that you can see a
completely different set of people walking and cars drinving
each time you look in a particular direction.

What made me happy today: 40% into the game I noticed and
succesfully eliminated my first flying rat (and just when I
wanted to say that I missed hidden packages). I would
probably be oblivious of their existance to the very end if
not for the red glow I finally noticed when I approached a
specimen at night.

It's going to take time before I get used to this PS3
controller. This game is in dire need of mouse aim and wasd
movement.

Tried multiplayer today. Where the hell is the
Flatiron bulding? Manhattan looks nice, but very compressed,
maybe a little too compressed.

Playboy, 'natch. I didn't have it in me to kill Dwayne, that
sadsack sulky sissy. Plus you get the GTA3 uniform in
Playboy's penthouse.

Who's up for some GTA Racing or perhaps some Cannonball Run?
These are my favorite multiplayer modes, so far. Cops and
Criminals also provided a few laughs, if only I could aim a
gun. I have access to one of those XBOX headsets, so make
sure to say 'hello', faggot. The man at Blockbuster Video
was right, this is a lot of fun.

Is anyone else in love with the 1st person view? That's
basically all I use now when I'm driving, with the exception
of the motorcycles. Once I got used to driving in 1st
person, I became a better driver with that view than I am
with the standard views.

Does anyone know if there are auto-body shops later in the
game that allow you to customize your cars like in San
Andreas? I'm only roughly 4-5 missions into the first part
of the city, so I haven't seen anything like that yet if it
does exist.

To be honest, I hate first-person or hood-views in any game
where you drive. It makes me feel less like a car and more
like I'm Superman or something, flying down the road
head-first at chest height. I would KILL for an in-car
cockpit view in this game. It would add so much immersion
and be so fun to mow down people and watch them bounce off
your hood and windshield. Taking cab rides was cool, being
in the backseat looking around at the city go past. I wanted
that kind of feel when I drove myself.

Unfortunately you can't tune your cars. I also miss the
harrier jet, samurai sword, bicycles, flamethrower, jetpack,
and chainsaw, though I guess some of these are just a bit
too over-the-top for the new style.

I miss the small WW2 plane from SA. The people in SA would
also create havoc on highways, if you pulled over and just
stood there. They would brake to see what was going on and
then someone slammed into them and so on.

Yeah, cab rides are awesome in this game.

Did he go to the internet cafe and has he bought a suit
yet?

I haven't encountered a single bug and I've been playing for
more than w week now.
The only nuissance was when I wanted to check the name of a
particular song on the radio during a mission and after I
finished I got an SMS saying that they couldn't identify the
song.

Edge of Seventeen is probably the best classic track they
could've included. There's Mama by Genesis too, it has some
great synth sounds on it.

Here's a fairly easy way to get an assault rifle earlier. On
the PS3, start the sixaxis tutorial. When you get to the
helicopter part, just crash it into the water. It says the
tutorial failed and you'll spawn outside the Francis Intl.
airport terminal (where the tutorial takes place). Now
inspect the cops outside the terminal. Some of them have
HK416 assault rifles.

Get a car, park it right next to one of them. Take him out,
jump into the car and drive to the safe house or whatever.

I've tried this a couple of times now. You have to get
atleast to the helicopter part before you end the tutorial
or the cops will be regular officers.

Anyone know if the weapon at the airport is an assault
rifle, the one by the strips? Well, the tutorial way you
only get three stars. Driving on the strip will get you
four.

Well, I found a bug, finally. By a bizzare accident I failed
the first mission I got from the Assasin, the one with the
bazooka. Now, when I try to replay it I get a briefing and
weapons for the next one (combat sniper rifle), but the
mission in fact takes me back to the helipad. I don't have
the bazooka and it's still unavailable in the weapon shops,
so I cannot shoot the helicopter down. It turns around
toward the sea soon after take off so I cannot snipe the
pilot.

Also, I am useless on a bike.

I've found a couple.
An example, during the bank robbery I advanced a bit quickly
and Packie and Derrick just stopped. No police around but
they didn't move towards the alley. I had to run back and
kill earlier police before they would finally move.

I've been using cabs as transport quite alot lately, just
saves time. Just hail the cab when you get out and it will
wait for you until you get back out or whatever you're
doing.

I noticed they sometimes get stuck, they just sit there and
the meter is running. As soon as you get out it charges you
and then it's only natural to kill the cab driver. It could
be the long waypoints screwing things up, like from Hove to
the armor in Bohan.

Cabs are the best new feature, I think. When they get stuck,
I just press X to skip the journey, no problem.

Why so many bike missions, goddamnit!?!?!
