hell, all your outbursts are even more funny now, haha. its
not about comparing bits in windows commander, almost free
file windows client surely wouldnt be a proper thing to do
this kind of test. blind test for sure. ok you're dont
believe FLAC sounds different, but see, some people hear the
difference when if they use different cable and shit (im not
saying i do). bow i can see you know, all rabbing your heads
and screaming, hehe..

im not chasing an illusion, im not one of these sad folks
trying to get more and more expensive gear just to prove
they hear better. i just know what i hear, and thats what im
telling. surely you cant prove im wrong if i feel different
when listening to music i like or when i listen to shit i
dont like ? also, i stated one importnat thing - you need to
have a good dedicated system. im sorry but everything sounds
shite and the same on shite gear, thats the rule number one.
thats why most people comfort themselfs with 192kb only, not
even FLAC. call it placebo, call is stupidity, its your
opinion, and theres no need for this kind of reaction, its
nearly as i would kill someone. youre defending something
you dont need to guys.easy. i just think music is not only
bits per seconds. it carries something that makes your feet
stompin, right ? are those bits compared in windows
commander ? eh, whatever.

and dont ask me to compare things on windows commander,
thats just silly. for the closure (i hope you'll live with
my opinion) i think people who make all the fuss about how
FLAC is the same compared to cd audio, are the ones a little
bit jealous of those, khem, "guys who (...) wasted a lot of
time and resources chasing some illusion". even if it is
illusion or something i cant prove but just fee personally,
i have my right to it, and if i feel good with it, thats it.
move along.

I'm still not sure if you're kidding or not.

You don't have to convince that there is pleasure to be had
in owning a certain album on CD or vinyl. If I pay for stuff
I also want a physical medium and just today I bought 5 CDs
from Raster-Noton which wouldn't loose much if compressed to
mp3.

I'm not against good musical hardware either. In fact, I'm
saving for something nice myself.

I can tell you that I also believe in the existance of a few
individuals who can hear difference when using better wiring
for example.

Well, I wanted to make a rant now, but it seems that
listening to music is quite a religious experience for you
and I'm too old to try to fight religion with reason. I feel
stupid engaging in this already.
If it makes you happy, wait for the CD, nobody sees anything
wrong in that (I hope). Just don't tell people that you need
dedicated equipment to hear that flacs are different,
because that's just bullshit.

You can only really hear the impoverished, bolshevik CD1
version on high end 10K+ (sterling) gear.

"acoustically neutral wooden knobs" my arse.

hahahahaha methinks someone has too much money. $3,000 on
wooden knobs. d'ye not find that a tad immoral?

Wooden knobs - how can this make a difference??? Well,
hearing is believing as we always say. The sound becomes
much more open and free flowing with a nice improvement in
resolution. Dynamics are better and overall naturalness is
improved.

I had to get a set of six knobs for my rig. If you can't
afford the knobs a good way to improve the sound of your CDs
is the Audioprism stop light pen.

this item is a recommended "tweak" if you want to remove the
harshness of your cds. sound is more detailed, bass is
deeper, mid is just right. i dont for other high end cd
player system out there, maybe they do not need anymore a cd
with an edge treatment , but as for me with a limited budget
on cd player, the CD stoplight is a must !

A CD is still a print you aren't comparing apples to apples.
The "original" is on their computer. For me to feel like I
had the value of an original painting I would want all their
source files, all their sequences etc.

only way to truly experience the delicate nuance that my
