yeah, that was just about the only redeeming part of the episode. ep 8's supposed cliffhanger ending better deliver or im gonna be pretty disappointed after the first few excellent eps of this season. |

im either thinking its gonna be sawyer because of the whole funeral/memorial service thing from the season three finale. or would they be counting aaron as one of the six? because if claire made it off the island as we had originally hypothesized im sure she would have been taking care of aaron, not kate. |

i'm thinking we're out of cool characters for flashforwards. so it's gotta be one of the cool ones left. i can't see how would they bring locke out of the island but who knows, it;d be probably more interesting to see him, maybe in a hweelchair again, than to see what sawyer is up to in the future. |

great episode! i'm so glad they really explained how michael got back on the island believable - i was expecting something much more far fetched. the amount of he-said she-said going on between ben and the people from the boat is boggling at this point. also its always nice to see the plague more, i hope he becomes a regular flashback character, as libby seems to be becoming as well. i hear they're actually supposed to be revealing more about how she is so interconnected within the whole lost universe this season. now we've just got another month to wait till the conclusion of the season. |

Lost as jumped the shark, they can now just say that aliens have made the island and all will be fine. The problem started when they introduce mind readers that also doubles as a ghost reader and all the fantasy stuff ever since, I know that a smoke creature and a polar bear on a island was far-fetched already but I as a viewer hoped for a creative explanation not a bunch of worned cliche cop-outs. |

**MY THEORY** Sorry this is a bit late. I *correctly guessed* it was Michael on the boat, and now I am going to guess it's fucking Michael in the coffin at the end of Season 3. Because no one likes him so that's why no one was there, and if I recall, the funeral parlour was in some ghetto part of town and that's... where.. Michael lives. Plus didn't the newspaper clipping say something about New York and someone falling out of a window? Maybe Michael, with his "work" done, was finally able to kill himself? I really like Desmond, even when he's bonkers. |

i've actually been thinking it could be ben himself in the coffin, but really, who knows. all this speculation is fun. it seems to me that michael is looking to die on the boat - even if he doesn't, the time lapse between them getting off the island and the season 3 finale episode (i think about a year plus) seems like a long time for michael to continue living without having killed himself. of course, i was wrong about michael being on the boat in the first place, so what do i know? and i agree, desmond is probably my favorite character on the show, now that locke has gone all weinery. can't wait for the new ep tomorrow night!! |

lost is rubbish. I gave it a chance honest. but by the time series 2 got going I held up my hands and gave up. Below is my list of reasons why lost is bad. 1. Rubbish characters. From jack to lock (locke woteva) each character is equally bland and predictable. The history behind them was so cheesy (the one in the band that's hooked on drugs, Kate and her history as a criminal, ect.). Each character does and says stupid things because they're just so helplessly driven by the ghosts of their past blablabla. The worst was Jacks laughable story as the doctor that just cared too much. 2. Rubbish plot structure. Each episode is entirely reliant on poorly constructed plot twists. There will be at least 2 before each ad break. Each week someone's got to get all gooey eyed and emotional over something so gobsmackingly cliche it hurts. Eg charlie (the one wiv the drug problem..i forget) throwing all his dirty drugs in the fire. 3. Poor acting. That australian girl with the baby was seriously over dramatic! "Moi bayby Moi bayby!". And Jack..........jesus christ!!! So overall lost is bad. I'm sorry to kill the dream. |
