it sucked.. well it didn't suck, it was typical lost. you watch it and feel like it didn't move forward at all, but a lot of weird shit happened and yet you can't wait to see the next one. For a season premiere I thought it was weak. I thought it had more weirdness than it is acceptable (believable without questioning?). |

They spent half the fucking episode crying over Charlie, and the other half drawing out the suspense of the dudes in the freighter hovering around just offshore. There wasn't a big event to re-set the hook after leaving us hanging for 8 months. Boo. |

I guess the hook is: why in the future they want to return, what are they hiding. why jack at first doesn't want anything with the island but why later he wants to return, why does hurley say he should've gone with jack instead of locke. ????? so we now have to see what happens on the islands that justifies these dramatic flashforwards |

i want to read this thread further but am afraid of spoilers from the new episode. anyway, re: the 8 episodes thing, i read (on wiki) that the writers had written 8 episodes before the strike. so the producers went ahead and started making those 8 episodes. so this doesn't mean there are only 8 episodes in the season. i think. i hope. i really don't know. was i betrayed by wiki? will i be betrayed by lost? honestly, if they let me down i'm going to be soo pissed. oh man will they taste my wrath. i don't usually invest myself in shows. three seasons on and i'm like a crack addict waiting for a hit. they better not end this poorly. |
