i suggest the creation of a 'BANNED LIST" so that we can all
see who is banned!

The format of your question is bad.

You should ask "how much do I have donate not to get this
feature?"

:-)

How 'bout a constructive suggestion, like making it easier
to post links, its a real pain in the ass.

Im really on edge here. I know my furry ferret ass is next.

whatever.

hem... ' _ '

do you all say you agree because you like seeing other
people banned, or because you don't dare to criticize?
i can understand some of you being for this feature rather
than against, but... all of you?

(and i've been called an asslicker once...)

i guess you do what you feel like since it's your mb. i
won't give you my advice either, since it doesn't count.
just wanted to express how i felt about it, ban me if you
want.

What if someone gets carried away with it? or people grow a
cult and try to ban a lot of people at once?

Isn't that why Ophecks is around? I think him and Tune have
done a good job telling those to shut their holes.

btw.....i do NOT consider myself to be asslicking
anyone.....ewwwww

if i didn't agree, i have no problem expressing my HONEST
opinion.

when people can't control themselves or use common sense,
something needs to be done or this whole board suffers.
don't you agree with that? have you been here when someone
goes MAD? i have, and believe me things go to hell in a
handbasket without mod's being able to take charge and do
something.

rules are part of life, you may not like them, but doesn't
change the fact.

christmas joke:

two brothers. One is always looking on the bright side of
things and cheerfull, the other brother is always looking at
the negative and is in a bad mood.

Its christmas day,

The pesimist brother gets loads of good toys, and is more
unhappy then ever....

The optimistic brother gets a box full of horse shit....

The boy gets up with excitment and is bursting with joy, and
he runs outside. His mom ask's him why he is so happy and
why he is outside in the snow. He says "WHERE THERE IS HORSE
POOP, THERE HAS TO BE A PONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!", "I CANT WAIT TO
FIND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!"

;*)

Good one, Phob...

Temp bans are a good way to telling someone to calm down a
bit....

There's a lot of crap spoken about bans here......weird as
the amount of people banned can be counted on one hand;
pretty good going for a board that's been going as long as
this one & as busy...

We've got a great atmosphere on here...this little feature
will ensure no-one comes along and tries to mess that up for
us all....

LeCoeur > for when people get mad, like agressive, with
insults or flood and all that i agree!

but i don't agree when it's just random deliriums. what is
wrong with them?
i don't want a 100% serious - 100% idm board, it would be
boring - and every step they do is making the board closer
to that.

The problem with random madness it is random. 99% of people
do not want to waste time even reading it.

I think it tends to be slightly prolonged "annoyances"- I
know some people come on here drunk/in a funny mood/high and
post something stupid from time to time, but it's when a
person is persistantly disruptive (e.g. re-opening closed
topics, trolling, creating a new user to get around being
banned etc.) that they get in trouble.

You must agree, that ultimately the webmasters pay (most of
the money) to run the site and put in all the work so they
have the final word. They give power to the mods to enforce
their will whilst they're not around/

I like the madness... it's the repetition of the same old
subjects and reactions that bothers me the most. It
sometimes becomes very predictable...
