GEOGADDI was easily the best album in 2002 when it comes to braindance!!!
Its a classic braindance album, one of the best ever made.

For me it was a toss up between Astro & Geogadid, but I went for geogaddi in the end. The AB series I consider more like commercial dance- whilst easily accessible, I know in say, a years time there will only be a few track on astro that I still play regularly (Lightworks, Acidophillus, Applause, etc.). Geogaddi on the other hand is an album I will listen to time and time again. I had it as sleeping music last night.

looks like GG is gonna lose the poll..
think it's also 'cause it's not a whole album like geogaddi i think, looks like people tend to choose an album rather than an EP..
or there are just a lot of BoC fans :D

Some consideration...
D'Arcangelo and Jello (aka Bola) are the less voted for Xltronic community, the third in this black list is Global Goon with his Vatican Nitez.
Geogaddi is winning this poll without any problem, while Astrobotnia has a good second position and it's a really good result for a debut.
Gantz Graf is the first between ep release, follow Plaid and Squarepusher.
I can bet who Tom Jenkinson will be not happy of this poll result...
It seems that Warp beat Rephlex in 2002.

i voted plaid because p brane is really great. geogaddi is very good, but i still prefer MHTRTC,i'm listening to gantz graf a lot in this period but it's hard to consider it the best of 2002,vatican nitez is so relaxing but the tracks are very similar between them,i haven't do you know sqp so i can't judge but i've read bad reviwes and people here don't care about that album too much, astrobotnia should be very good as all ovuca stuff

i disagree with you astrid. i think it's a difficult record yes, but it kind of separates the hardcore from the herd as far as fans are concerned.
geogaddi was a lot less commercial and a lot less accessible than MHTRTC, but it has more in it.
most bands go in the other direction, and end up getting really popular because the music is getting more 'pop'.

ive said this 1 million times:
Geogaddi is the ying of MHTRTC yang.
Its still in the same circle (style), but is contrasting.... MHTRTC is dreamy and peaceful, while Geogaddi is dark and evil.
End of story.
If you dont like the darker style, fine. But dont say its shit, cause its so obviously not.
