50s
60s
70s
80s
90s

each one has been very important for the evolution of music
(popular, not classic)
but which do you really think is the best? each one might
have been important in some way, some of them where more
prolific, other more significant, other more
revolutionary...but for you...?

Oh god, when the 80's came around I think time actually
reversed, so I'd have to say 70's or late 90's

many people have a bad opinion on the 80s... (myself in the
past) but is it fair? was it really a poor decade in
comparison with the rest?...

you say late 90´s...I would say early 90s

60's by a longshot. The Beatles, it goes without saying, are
the best ever, then there's the Stones, The Velvet
Underground, The Kinks, Hendrix, The Who, Pink Floyd, Dylan,
Zappa... fucking insane.

Early 70's is great too, up till about 74... then things got
a little iffy... and I'm not a fan of punk at all, except
the Clash (who were barely punk after their first two
albums).

If I'd have to say waht influenced me as musical taste I
would say late 80's and 90s videogame music and late 90s
dance music...

all genres and times of music are as significant as one
another. all years are a good as the last. you really are
obsessed with 'best of's and 'top 5's arent you?

Neon clothes, checkerd slip on vans, cheesy/bizarre music,

the period form 1965-75, you just can't beat all the great
music that came from the era... god I would have loved to
experience it myself...

There was madness in any direction, at any hour... you
could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic
universal sence that whatever we were doing was right, that
we were winning. Our energy would simply prevail. We had
all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and
beautiful wave.
