i cant imagine myself with children listening to pop crap
100% capitalistic music... i think id like to make them
listen to idm pretty soon when ill have some...but then, is
afx good for children?

hahah

what a lovely question

when i was little my daddy played me all this psychedelic
rock. i have been told by my parents that i liked to dance
to jefferson airplane. i bet it did some of the damage.

maybe theyre some tracks that should be kept from the kids
hands like ventolin : must be hidden with the alcohol and
the cleaning powders

lol but btw i think since 3 years old the brain has not
finish all the neuronal connections, so i guess two years
old kids just dont receive the sound as olders do imo

ever hear that thory that if you play mozart for a baby it
helps them in the learning process or some crap

i bet afx is like that lol
unless you play come to daddy too much then your kids will
turn into that monster from the video and eat their grandma
:(

but songs like girl/boy song are the ideal tracks for a
happy little kid to listen to ehehehe b0nk ;- )

I think some tracks can be scarry and harsh
but most of electronica is suitable for kids.
I was brought up on kraftwork autobarn which as a little kid
could be quite creepy at times.
But most of all you dont want to give the child tinitus
before hes out of nappys.

I think that approach will just backfire on you glass_eater.
Don't you know kid's become rebelious against their parents?
If you try to force them to listen to AFX, you can be sure
they'll start listening to britney spears just to annoy
you.

You've got to tell them AFX is evil, and how much you hate
that crap. Infact, forbid them to ever listen to any song
written by Richard! This way they will surely become
afx-addicts for life ;-)

my mam told me not to do bad things like hurrt my cat
because buy god if i did my cat would hurrt me back 10 fold,
and it did. i could listen to what i wanted, watch what i
wanted, barr silence of the lambs coz she had hearrd it was
bad (wrrong).
otherrwise it was my own choice. so just let yourr kids find
theirr own rout.

yes ofcourse you are right. I'm sure glass_eater was just
joking (i know i was ;-)). It's wrong to force any kind of
taste on your children. You have got to give them the
opportunity to develop into what they want to be themselves.

(your mom was right about the cat though :-D I guess both
your parents are wise people!)

some would be alright while some would just scare the living
piss out of them. Come to Daddy and Ventolin would make
them shit them selves, while Stone in Focus and Rhubarb
would put them into a relaxing, peaceful sleep.

This is a serious issue! Less and less parents are taking
action to propel their children in the right musical
direction. Laziness? Naivety? Both. Hell, whenever I see my
nephew I always throw some IDM on, don't want the poor thing
growing up listening to retard music, which will happen if
his parents don't act fast.

Although saying that the dad does sort of like Prodigy, not
the best but it'll do for now.
