saving private ryan - 3.9/5

it was pretty good, i expected it to be much worse. the
score is brought down by matt damon. i even though tom
hanks was good.

but really, i need a comedy after all these sad movies i've
been watching. any recommendations?

omg that needs to go into a different, special, christmas
movie thread. for the great flicks such as jack frost the
horror movie. and of course, the santa claus, featuring
none other than the very talented tim allen!

i see :)

i thought it was nice, yeah, although i'd love if it was
less sci-fi..
kirsten dunst makes every film worth watching btw.

well, i'd give 5/5 for more vision and effects :) great
story about imagination and that 'always look on the bright
side' attitude.

Dirtsten Kuntz does not make ANY film watchable, I
saw the last 20 minutes or so of Bring It On and fuck me, it
was one of the most wretched things I've ever seen, definite
20,000 out of 1.

great performance from gene hackman and especially john
cazale! cazale was a wonderful actor, it is such a shame he
died so young and after only 5 films.

i really enjoyed this Wong Kar Wai film starring Fae Wong,
Tony Leung, Brigitte Lin. Kinda frantic, cramped romantic
piece in a hectic Hong Kong!

Closer - 4/10

why can't movies just be good. cunt fuck, titty sit on my
face, who's cum tastes better blah blah fuckity blah crap.
who give a shit? are people really interested in this farty
half ass relationship drama stuff. don't people get enough
of this in their own lives (maybe they don't). would have
been a 3/10 if Natalie Portman didn't have such a nice lack
of outfit in the booth scene. her bod saved this from total
damnation.

should have gone to see The Polar Express.

Fata Morgana- 9.4

seriously an amazing film... it was directed by Werner
Herzog in the early seventies... basically they went out
into the sahara desert and just filmed the landscape and the
people there... much time is spent trying to film mirages...
the narration of the first part it a guatemalan creation
myth and the narration of the second part is a poem that
Herzog wrote himself... in any case the correlation to the
image is certainly not obvious and so the whole thing comes
across like some giant poem... the landscapes are captured
so beautifully... if you ever get the chance to see this:
take it... a truly fucked up, amazing film...

Napoleon Dynamite 5/5

I love the way he uses cool skater language whilst talking
like a complete dud. And instead of saying Fuck, he says
Heck, oh the hilarity.

A Legend with wikkid 80s space boots and some serious moves.
