That's Aykroyd's filmography (minus TV stuff) - there's a
WHOLE TON OF CRAP in there!

Heh, I was quite stumped by that one till I saw it again.
When Indy, Shortround and the annoying bitch escape from Lou
Che and get a lift with the poultry plane, Aykroyd is the
guy who leads them to the plane.

you should check out my track "radical new therapy" it has
the clip from what about bob:
"Leo: You think he's gone? he's not gone. That's the whole
point-He's never gone!!
Bob: Is this some radical new therapy?
Leo: YOU SEE?!!"
that's one of my favorite movies, and i've allways loved
that part of the movie for some reason

i loved the pickle shooting train.

also, the title of the movie was originally going to be
"Valkenvania." i think that would have added a lot to
general creepy cheesiness and interesting terribleness of
the movie. did you like the digital underground and tupac
cameo?

those cameo's made even more terrible.. trying to sell it to
'the kids'..

I think "Valkenvania" would've been better, yeah.. I mean,
"nothing but trouble" is just such a generic title..

I finally got to see Rushmore last night. Fantastic film -
flawed, and a little dull in places, but I still think it's
brilliant. Murray was in typically good form - soo subtle
but hilarious. Can't wait to watch it again in fact!

Max: Were you in Vietnam?
Herman: Yeah, yeah I was.
Max: Were you in the shit?
Herman. Yeah, I was in the shit.

:D

It's only 85 minutes in length! :P

I know, it did seem long to me though. I think it was the
sedate pace of some scenes. It was probably more towards the
first half hour I was fidgeting, after an hour I was
enraptured. I especially liked Murray's interaction with his
kids!

I couldn't watch The Royal Tenenbaums however as my cable
box has gone caput! Have to wait till the weekend now.

Tenenbaums is good, but obviously not as good as Rushmore ;)
Plus, Murray isn't in it that much :|

The problem with The Royal Tenenbaums is it tries to be what
Rushmore already is - a strange film with believable but
weird characters. I think he didn't pull it of in tRT, while
he succeeded wonderfully in Rushmore.

I can see how you can think Rushmore is slow in places -
basically, because it is. :)

I really liked the part in the elevator, with Max and
Herman..

Herman just drank some liquor, is smoking two cigarettes at
the same time..

Max: Hey, are you okay?
Herman: Mmmmmmm.. I'm a little bit lonely these days..

Yeah, Rushmore is choc-a-bloc with touching scenes between
those two... real tension and emotion going on.

Watched The Royal Tenenbaums last night - while Bill's
contribution was strangely muted (and small) I really
enjoyed it. Not sure if it was better than Rushmore, but a
good flick.

THe Razor's Edge is a good film - as you probably know,
it's not a comedy, but an adaptation of a w. somerset
maughm story - he waned to make it before, and he used his
money from Ghost Busters to fund it. I enjoyed it.

I'd forgotten how funny Kingpin is! Harrelson was just great
in it! ANd of course, Murray was very funny! Think I might
buy it next time I have cash to spare! :D
