Wasn't there supposed to be a Daft Clubcart with this
album? Because there isn't... not in my copy anyway :-(

I bought it today, because it was half price. And the first
4 tracks are all classics imo :-D (for those who don't know
the tracklisting: 1. One more time, 2. Aerodynamic,
3. Digital love, 4. Harder better faster stronger
)...
it doesn't get any better than that :-) 21st century
popmusic at it's best!

I'm not too sure about the other 10 tracks yet... perhaps i
need to listen to them more. Some of them sound a little
shallow and short... not very exciting.

But right now i'm listening to a track called
superheroes and it's fantastic!

I also bought Weezer's Green Album at half price :-) (at
last... i've been borrowing that cd for ages from my little
brother, now finally i can add it to my own cd-collection...
because i LOVE it).

It's not fair that you didn't have a club card.

if you like daft punk perhaps you should check out
irreversible soundtrack-music was made by thomas bangalter,
who is apperantly one hlaf of daft punk
i kind of dislike this latest daftpunk stuff, i didnt even
by it, but this irreversible stuff is pretty cool
some house kind of stuff, but most of it is deep bass sounds
and music that makes your head spinn
if it sounds interesting haha, i recommend you to check out
track called "rectum"

Digital Love was their greatest track.

Yeah well... i have seen the cd in cd-stores before. And it
used to be a 2CD-jewelcase, so that you could open up the
tray... and the card was underneath that.... right?

But my copy of the album is just a normal 1CD-jewelcase...
there's not even room for a clubcard. So i'm guessing the
card wasn't added on later pressings of the album?

I tried to ask the man behind the counter about it... but
the "man" behind the counter was just a 15 year old boy who
just said "i don't know, are you buying it?"

I can't really be bothered anyway ;-) I probably wouldn't
even have used the card. But i just found it strange... they
made such a big deal out of this clubcard... and now it
simply isn't there. Weird...

Hadn't heard of this irreversible yet...

"thomas bangalter, who is apperantly one hlaf of daft
punk
"

yeah that's correct :-) He is.
I loved his (or the other halfs? I don't know... one of them
anyway.) other side-project Stardust... that was a
great song!

The songtitle sounds disgusting :-p But i'll look into it
anyway. Thanks :-)

My version came with the clubcard in it, but it was the
japanese import version, wrapped in a special anime slipcase
by Leiji Matsumoto, the guy who made the vids. Anyway, I was
told that the clubcard only came with that particular
version so... tough luck buddy, you want mine?

I almost get an orgasm when i play the Van-Halen-esque
guitar part from Aerodynamic...

excellent album, as good as homework but in a different
style.

fuck the club card you're better without it, its a fucking
nightmare getting it to work then you're left with shitty
software which fucks your computer up and is completely
uninstallable. although all albums, cd and vinyl, should
come with a card.

"It might not be.... the right time.... you might now be...
the right one.... but there something about you I have to
say..... some kind of reason anyway..."

"One more time...."

I wish that they could finish that anime video/movie concept
they had for this album and put it on dvd.... god that would
kick soo much ass, but I dont hear anything about it
anymore, so I think they stopped production.

:*(

They showed it a couple times on cartoon network, and it
used to be on the toonami section of the site... but now
more I guess

When you hear this album, you cant stop yourself from
getting up and dancing, when I hear this record it always
puts a big smile on my face.

It's cheesy shit, but I like it. In particular Aerodynamic,
Voyager, Digital Love and...some other one.

It's a pretty good album, Homework is much better imo...
Aerodynamic is probably my favorite track on there

yeh Aerodynamic is really good! And i mean
really good! That guitarsolo is totally insane...
it's so weird because i absolutely loathe Van Halen... and
this solo sounds just like it, but in this song i love it
:-) It isn't just good to listen to, but it just feels good!
An overal feeling of happiness :-D Mickey Mouse described
that very well, hehe.

"shitty software which fucks your computer up and is
completely uninstallable.
"

hm... doesn't sound like much fun. Now i feel almost glad
that i got no card ;-) And really i just care about this
album. I like it alot, but Daft Punk is not a band that i
find so fantastic i need to hear everything they put out.

I don't even own Homework. The only single i liked from that
one was Da Funk... the one with the tomato-video was
kind of OK also, but i can't stand that stupid "around the
world" song... baah.

I listened to the album again... and i think it's fantastic
:-) Almost all the songs. Maybe the last one could have been
a bit shorter (hehe... it has an appropiate title!), i could
have lived without the first 5 minutes. But otherwise...
great stuff!

Hm... and those videos, i didn't really like them actually.
For a "serious" animation they just weren't good enough. I
felt no emotions whilst watching them... the storyline was
rather dull. And for a "funny" animation they just weren't
funny!

The drawing itself was okay... but the colors would have
been enough to make me feel epileptic! Too much and too
bright! I seriously wonder what so many people liked about
them?

hehe, couldnt finish watching those animated videos at all
and music was such' a let down
well, perhaps i'd have to give it another try, i really
disliked it when it came out-i was like what the fuck is
this
but i guess they would deserve another go, since their first
thing was alright

I thought those animations were just awesome, especially if
youve seen all of the ones they released, plus, they are
directed by Leiji Matsumoto. Lots of colors = good! Yay!

I've been meaning to get this album for ages... I love most
of the songs... Daft Punk are awesome!! They make poppy
dance music, sure... but they do it well!

get it!! :-) it's just wonderful.

This morning i fell in love with the song "nightvision"...
it reminds me of some song from my childhood... but i just
can't put my finger on it which one... hm... but it's just
awesome. Very short and melancholic. I'm glad the album also
has such moments... besides all the happy music! :-)

Nothing wrong with poppy dancemusic! Woohoo! (altough the
pricetag-label thingy labeled it is as "pop/rock"... hm... i
can kind of see how they would think that (it's definitely
pop... and it does have some guitarsolos... hehe), but i
think it's a mistake to leave out the dance-element!)
