It's darn cold here today in Montreal. I just stepped out
to grab a coffee at The Second Cup and nearly froze my balls
off. Anyhoo - now I'm sippin' away at my brew and looking
for the perfect cold weather album.

My vote is:
Ae - Chiastic Slide

Icy goodness.

Funckarma - solid state

I read a review of it that suggested it was wintery music,
like a warm puffy hood on a cold winter day, and ever since
my poor suggestible mind has always heard it as winter
music.

The opening track does, in fact, remind me of the crunching
of packed snow when it's so cold it's like styrofoam
squeaking.

because i bought all their stuff in the middle of the
summer..and listened to it constantly between july and
august..

You can't go wrong with Biosphere, especially the Polar
Sequences album with Higher Intelligence Agency.
