Someone suggest three CDs for me to sleep to tonight.
I'm thinking something by Squarepusher, Autechre, and Aphex
Twin. :)
Thanks in advance

Something by Pan American, preferably 'For A Running Dog'.

Pulsing, soft, rhymic, bassy... a cat would really enjoy
sleeping to this.

Is "Sometimes, Good things happen" an ambient release?

Delphium: For me, Tha is waking up in the early evening
music.

Mine:
Aphex Twin - SAWII
The Caretaker - A Stairway To The Stars
Boards of Canada - Geogaddi
Lustmord - An early document of tactile experimentation.

I was extremely upset that no store had it...

I'll do anything I can to get it...I'm sure they can order
it in for me.

Sorry for taking so long to reply, neet!

BOC is too scary at times....i tried it...makes my dreams
all messed up.

Can't fall asleep to Feed Me...I just lie there listening to
it...

Fly, you should definitely check out that Deep Forest one.

I think you would like it...it's not that water-music
rubish, it's actually techno-ish electronic stuff with
tribal vocals and blips and stuff. Pretty cool imo.

I'll get you a link, hang on...

My family's had it for years, when I was young and first
discovering music, it was always my favourite.

I've managed to pick up all their albums locally, except a
live one that I imported in.

And Lust: Are you thinking of the one where it starts off
all ambient-y and then a deep voice comes in, saying:

"Somewhere, deep in the jungle are living some little men
and women. They are our past, and maybe...maybe they are our
future."

Cause that's the World Mix one.

And Fly:

Get "Sweet Lullaby". I can guarantee you'll recognise the
tune.

Biosphere Substrata

The best ambient album of the 90s IMHO.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, try downloading
some Hearts of Space stuff. Hearts of Space is more of a
collage of electronic/ambient/whatever music to make a
theme...its abot 56 minutes long for each of them, unless
you get the individual tracks.
