only very rarely... i would hate it if i got a scratch on
one of them, but mostly because i barely know anyone who
listens to the music i listen to.

i usually dont have to.. my friends who share my musical
interests have a cd burner.. so i always give them cd's to
encode

i lent a few last year.. and the kid forgot to bring them
back before the end of the year.. and he didnt come back
this year.. so my cujo and wagon christ cd's are still MIA..
i do have some of his cd's though..

i am never lending a cd to my brother again. last 3 or 4 i
did lend him came back almost unplayable, in shattered cases
>_< i would have a hard time finding someone at my school to
lend any of my cd's to, seeing as everyone is a fuckass
teenybopper and such.

i'd most definitely never ever lend any of my vinyl out to
anyone, but again, finding someone i know with a record
player would be really hard around here. most people don't
even know what i mean when i say "oh i want/have that on
vinyl" they're always like, "whaaa?" grrrrrr

i lent cd's out to lots of friends throughout high school. i
got so many people into different artists. they were very
appreciative and open minded. it was a great experience. i
also got exposed to some of the artists who are favorites of
mine today through people lending me albums or zip disks
full of mp3's.

i don't lend cd's out in college though. no one seems to
like any of the stuff i listen to. i go to a "prestigious"
liberal arts college in rural pennsylvania where all the
students are rich brats and comformists. the pettiest people
i've ever met in my life. it's like the public high school i
never got to experience. actually it feels more like junior
high. very immature. the only person i've lent cd's to is my
roommate, who listens to godawful trance exclusively. i
exposed him to "idm" and "trip-hop" which has gone over
well, but not changed a single thing (he still listens to
trance only). the closest thing i've had to someone who can
lend me cd's is stealing cd's from my evil radio station.
i've taken like 7 cd's that no one but me ever played
anyway.

I don't lend out my actual CDs... very protective of them,
at least the classic rock. But I burn CD-Rs of albums for
people all the time.
