my current one is getting old, and has problems playing
some CDs... i think i'll go and buy a new one (it's not
urgent though), do you have any recommendations?

I have a Sony Walkman D-e221, and it's cheap and good. The
batteries, I swear to God, last FOREVER. They never never
die. I've had this one pair in for weeks.

I'd always go for Sony.

www.ukgadgets.co.uk

£50 will get you a CD/VCD/MP3CD player. You can get a real
small mp3 player (pop3) for around £50 also but you may
need more MMC for it if you like loads of music on it.

If i were you, i'd get one with rechargable batteries. You
can just use the a/c adapter to charge it back up, which
obviously saves a load of money.
Philips has these, and Philips cd-players look a lot better
too than those crappy sony ones like ophecks has (please
dont ban me :)

Let's make things better!

I used to have rechargeable batteries, and for some reason
once I used them all up (they wear out), I never bothered to
buy new ones... but you just reminded me to get some!

And I don't ban people that dislike my gay pride purple CD
player. I only ban people who are anti-Beatles. That's fair,
no?

Oh I know, I'm not that militant. I just avoid The Gap, Mc
Donalds, Coca Cola and the like. I know Sony are a good
make.
