you like what you like! Ae needs you to be in the very mood for listening to it, and it doesn't come often... when i'm not in the mood it's boring :) if you want to give it a second chance, try Amber maybe... BoC has been highly overhyped; some people love it, some like it, some find it totally overrated and boring. i think they're nice but greatly lack diversity. it's nice, soothing... bubble-gum idm. and if they seem to have things to do with demons, manson, etc... i don't know why they put these references, since they don't have any message about it and it barely adds anything to the music itself. as for >[]... it's the closer to AFX... but of course it depends on what you've heard, go plastic and M.I.R.O.N. are my favorites and they're both very different... i don't know seinfeld. |

That was almost a year ago, and from the beginning I hated all of the dork mucis he listened to and all of the music he himself made. ;) Eventually, somehow, Aphex Twin grew on me. But after a year, I still find Boards of Canada and Autechre irritating and useless. And squarepusher... buh! Fat guy with a beard who sits at a computer and makes bad noises. Bleah! Out of all of them, I like Aphex the best. I admire him. :) I loooove Type O Negative (Peter Steele: yum!) and only like Kittie and cradle of filth. I have "Spit" by Kittie and "Cruelty and the Beast" by Cradle of Filth, but I wouldnt own anymore by either of them and wouldnt want to see them live. My name comes from my favorite Type O song, Haunted. :) |

Lust INcarnate---do ya like Carnivore? its peter's previouse band, im not atype o fan AT ALL the s/t carnivore is amazing and their second cd was in my opinion a "joke", and not a good one at that the s/t was originaly just 8 songs. its great |

squarepusher ain't fat.. you should listen to some of his organic, melodic material from 1998-9, it might suit you better than the Internet Dork Music (which really isn't for everyone). what do you like about marilyn manson? manson and kittie seem like the odd choices in your otherwise outstanding list.. |

Thanks for the link. :) titsworth--squarepusher is fat. *points to picture of Squarepusher that is taped to Lukes wall.* Also, I like Mansons lyrics, videos, and the way his songs sound. Favorite song is "Man That You Fear". That is also my favorite of his videos, I think. I dont like Kittie as much... I like Spit, their first (?) record. squarepusher isn't fat. don't trust that picture. he's a pretty normal looking bloke. ask luke to play you "my sound", "iambic 5 poetry", and almost any other track on (i'd be specific but i haven't listened in a while). my fave manson song is "man that you fear" as well. antichrist superstar is an excellent album. trent reznor is a phenomenal producer and musician. he brought the best out of manson and his bandmates, who possess talent but make pretty bland and boring music (no offense) outside of that album. |
