tones that can't be heard.

there are times when I get bored and I start messing with
audio for the sole purpose of trying to make sounds that are
completely inaudible or almost completely inaudible. I
start in cool edit and add distortion first and then ring
modulators and then a little of this and a little of that
and eventually you can still see the wave form accept you
can almost bairly hear it cause the pitch is so high.
I don't know what my point is. I have a drum beat made out
of tones that are almost inaudible.
what do you think the result would when throughing sounds
like this into a mix?

Try some sound tone testing on your dog!

But don't piss it off.

seriously some of the stuff I do can freak out animals.
I also made a bass tone one time that is so low that it
can't hardly be heard but it kinda makes you feel ill.

there is a police weapon that makes use of oen of those
tones. I dont' remember if it makes you ill or if it makes
you poop but it's one of those "non harmful" weapons they
can use. the officer puts on headphones and shoots the
sound your direction. crazy stuff.

brown noise is different than the brown note. I have a
brown noise generator on my computer it's basically white
noise or pink noise each one just having a different "shade"
to them kinda. basically just static.

:))

its the note you make, that when it is played you start to
go poo and pee on yourself, and maybe even vomit a little.
Its really quite refreashing

But seriously, I think you have to have some serious
amplify'ing going on to boost a such a low decible sound
that much, but maybe it is pure bass at a extreme low
level.... because bass is the only noise our bodies can
actually feel..... high end noises not so much. I wonder if
the sound can be made and encoded to the digital format.
hehe

it may sound like a load of crap, but it IS so. I dunno
about "pooping" note. but a 7 Hz sound can invoke a feeling
of fear and uneasiness. That was tested in some USA cinemas
- they installed a powerful 7 Hz generator near the roof of
cinema hall. People watching some ordinary shit suddenly
started shouting and ran outta there...

is there a note that induces confidense and a feeling of
well-being?

Resonance is the key.

The power (physical) gains of sound waves from resonance
are, well, awesome.

Resonance is essentially when a wave form will "resonate"
(if you will) between 2 walls (for example). The distance
between the walls will equal the distance of the wave (or
1/2, or 1/4, wave if you will). This (read *standing
waves*) will cause an increase in energy.

If you have a system in your car, the loudest note
(-->loudest song) will be at the resonate frequency of your
vehicle (usually from the subs/ports to the engine
firewall).

The human body has resonating frequencies. The head ~
400Hz. Blast a 400Hz and you might feel a bit of a headache
:)

The human brain ~ 10Hz
Heart / internal organs etc.. ~ 7Hz

You will see different intervals from different sources, but
you get the idea.

Now, actually the brownie note can be as high as 14Hz., the
only hard part is attaining a high level of decibals.

135dB @ 14Hz will definetely do the trick. Your inner
bowels will resonate from this bass, causing you to poop
your pants and vomic uncontrollably. Of course you won't
hear a thing (Human freq. range from 20Hz-20Khz.) but you
bet your ass at 135dB @ 14Hz there will be some major
shaking from your surroundings!

I can easily do 145dBs with 1 driver at 30Hz. Now, this
won't make you shit your pants but I can tell you this,
after driving for a long time, I _do_ feel like taking a
shit afterwards. 30Hz is very low, and at 145dBs, that is
quite a bit of pressure to loosen myself up.

The military has been playing with this for some time now,
and will soon be moved into riot control weapons.

They have takin a jet engine, with a very very long port,
which essentially tuned the engine waves to ~ 7Hz. Point
that at some concrete buildings, and, well, ..... bye bye.

There will be little handguns that will shoot subsonic
frequencies that can "stun" you. Much like the way a tiger
can stun you (when tigers growl they can send out 7Hz waves
that will "stun" it's prey, or

33Hz is a rumored res. freq of a womans clit.

I've heard as high as 70Hz tho, it varies.

Rumored that vibrators do 33cycles/second, hitting the res.
freq :D

to complain about?

well
you obviously havn't "heard" 20Hz then
muahhuahuahua

btw i can only hear down to 22Hz.
:(

will fade as they grow older

My old music teacher said a certain note would make you get

puke. I think he said E flat, but i'm not sure. :/

unfortunetely, getting that loud at that low, well, the
atmospheric pressure would really have to be giving.

it is possible, but would take a lot of cabin volume to be
done correctely.
