SAWII - A way to tell?

I recently purchased SAWII for Christmas and I wasn't sure
which version it was. I know that one version (Warp
version?) has 25 tracks, one has 24, and one pathetic
version has only 23 tracks (Sire?).

Anyway, is there a way to tell the versions apart in regard
of the packaging, cause there were two versions in the
stores, one with a jewel case and better packaging, and one
that looked ordinary and not as good.

Some help please guys?? :)

All I know is that the 25 tracks version is only available
on vinyl.

look at the graphics/circles in the back of the case.

if they're colored, it's the 24-track version (including
[hankie] which is a great track)!
if they're black, it's the 23-track version...

the 25-track version is vinyl only, sorry!

23: U.S.
24: U.K.
25: vinyl

there used to be a site somewhere that had pictures of the
two different cd vesions.. i dont know where it is though

but.. the american version.. the discs are white with the
brownish pie things around them

the uk version has the pie things on the discs as well i
think.. but arranged differently.. and theyre not white

Heh, thanks, Uzim! I know now ehich copy it is.

The circles are coloured so I guess that means I have the
U.K. 24 tracks version. Yay!

:D

The UK version the CD's are silver with coloured thingies
around the outside...sadly my discs are now partially see
throw after my girlfriend took sandpaper to my cd
collection.

I haven't seen the actual cd's or inside the case yet,
because it had like a thick plastic wrap on it and I wasn't
allowed to tear it open.

Ah well, only 8 or so more sleeps till I can experience the
beauty of Lichen, Rhubarb and Cliffs...

Simple...

If the back has the Sire Records logo and copyright on the
back, it's the U.S. (23 tracks, missing "hankie" which is
not a serious omission, IMHO) version. If it doesn't, just
the Warp logo and copyright, it's the U.K. version (24
tracks)...

But both version DO NOT have "stone in focus"...

FYI :|

I have StoneInFocus in 320 kbps, but I'll never give it out
because of the horrible connection speed :((

BTW, I also have those SAWII cover pix:
(uploading right now)

here are those SAW2 scans

Can anyone tell me which version is this?

i prefer hankie to rhubarb... in fact i prefer the ambient
or weird tracks in genereal.

my least favorite being weathered stone, my favorites being
cliffs, blue calx, white blur I, tree (esp. the beginning)
parallel stripes, spots and matchsticks. :)

matchsticks somehow reminded me of Fight Club, then I
realized the horror of the scene in the underground parking
lot when he was fighting against himself. weird thoughts
come after listening to SAWII...
