hummm......i suppose i'll weigh in my opinion since opinions
were solicited.

i not comfortable calling anyone a LOSER i don't personally
know or have dealings with, however DRUGS and the ABUSE and
RELIANCE on any KIND of DRUG (yes that includes the BIG
legal one ALCOHOL) can in NO WAY be seen as GOOD FOR YOU.

it's a crutch IMO and something that i never have need of,
now or ever. i don't need drugs to enjoy music, art, or the
company of people. i enjoy being AWARE of my surroundings,
and whats going on in the world.

i do enjoy fine wine, especially with a nice meal it can
really add lovely flavours, and i occasionally imbibe
socially. i've never had a problem controlling my intake,
and being around drunks, in a WORD is a DRAG!

my .02 cents

I just think the only "losers" are people who are so quick
to label whole massive groups of people based on whether the
get drunk or take drugs or sumn.

It's like "omg youve smoked weed once in your life I will no
associate with you"
that's the olnly real wack behaviour in my opinion.

same thing as not liking someone because of the color of
their skin or what religion they follow... very sad and
ignorant way to live your live

i cope with life just fine. do you mean only recreational
drugs? what about prescription drugs that are worse than
recreational drugs, but necessary for some condition? i
doubt you'd argue that. how about ceremonial drugs? are
the peruvian natives all losers? the entire culture?! or
the native columbians who live in high altitude. the men
chew coca all day long, ever day of their life. been going
on since the dawn of time as far as they're concerned. you
should really try to consider that there are exceptions to
most rules, especially asshole biased ones like" drugs are
for weak losers who can't cope with life."

got me salvia divinorum plant in the mail today. it doesn't
take kindly to repotting so i had to put it in a 16 inch pot
for it to fully grow, but the plant is only two inches above
the soil. it's funny if you could see it.

yes, very special plant. the dea is pushing to schedule
this harmless, ancient medicine. they're to get congress to
pass something that will allow them to schedule without
doing all the testing and proving it's harm. what's with
all the us government abuse lately? bush gets complete
power to call war, homeland security bill allows pretty much
unlimited access to emails and personal files. and this
plant may not matter to many people, but it's an endagered
species and sacred to many, and the dea is going to
illegalize it on the basis that they say it is bad.

ive done way to many drugs a couple of years ago...mostly
shrooms and pot. And now i can't remember things that
happended a week ago. If anyone ever says that pot doesnt
fry your brain, i will smack them down so hard...

I have also had several breakdowns because my past slowly
came back to me, after being put away in a pot-swamp for
years.

Do some adranalin-pumping sport instead....jump off a
building....

For me it's offfcourse ok to get high once a year or so
(maybe a couple more, depends on the situation). But the
fact that i can't stop, fucking sucks.

It always feel like there's something missing, and the only
thing you can think off is the smoke of the joint....

drugs ARE for losers....

See, I think drugs have done some good things for us, I
really do. And if you don't believe drugs have done good
things for us, do me a favor, go home tonight and take all
your albums, all your tapes and all your CD's and burn them.
Because, you know what, the musicians who made all that
great music that's enhanced your lives throughout the
years... rrrrrrrreal fucking high on drugs. Man, the Beatles
were so high, they let Ringo sing a couple of tunes. Tell me
they weren't partying. (singing) "We all live in a yellow
submarine, yellow submarine." We all live in a-do you know
how fucking high they were when they wrote that? They had to
pull Ringo off the ceiling with a rake to sing that fucking
song. (Beatle voices) John, get Ringo, he's in the corner.
Ooh, look at him scoot, grab him! Hook his bellbottom, hook
his bellbottom! He's got a song he wants to sing us.
Something about living in a yellow tambourine or something.
Ringo, Yoko's gone, come down, we can party again! They were
real high, they wrote great music, drugs did have a positive
effect.

Okay, I'll tell you what else. I'm gonna extend the theory
to our generation, now, so it's more plicable. The musicians
today, who don't do drugs, and in fact speak out against
it-"We're rockers against drugs"-boy, they suck. Suck.
Ball-less, soul-less, spirit-less, corporate little bitches,
suckers of Satan's cock, each and every one of them.

Bill Hicks (the real one) just spouted a load of stuff
liberal lefties wanted to hear.

"Oh Bill, you're so right. Aren't we kerrrrrrrrrazy".

I'm not even going to rise to that (obviously) antagonistic
statement jonesy.

Bill was one of the few people who spoke the truth all the
time, regardless of who it offended. That is why he was
ostracised by the media (letterman etc) and died relatively
unknown.

He may well be a cult figure for students and lefties but
that doesn't neccessarily make him automatically shite does
it? What exactly is it that you dislike so much about
students and lefties? Did your further education experience
disappoint you? Did some student steal your
girlfriend/boyfriend? Did some lefty run off with your mum?
You obviously have some issues that need dealing with.

Jonesy, I'm here for you if you want to talk.

Nice.

I think Bill Hicks was funny, but he is overrated. I also
disagree with some of the things he said regarding smoking
etc.

People who quote his railing against religion always seem to
neglect to mention (or not know...) that he reverted to
being a baptist (the religion he was brough up in) in his
final days before he coofed it.

Well, Henry Miller said he wasn't sure if there was a God,
but if he ever met him he'd calmly walk up to him and spit
in his face.

When asked in an interview what he would say to God if he
met him when he died, Burt Reynolds said, "Boy, I've made
some mistakes in my time, but you've made far worse ones."

Seems quite strange to call God "Boy", good way of becoming
a tower of salt if you ask me ;)

Ah, cool. It can be quite tiring going out till 3am then
starting work at 9.00. Not that I do it very often, but
sometimes it ends up happening. I've always thought it'd be
cool to work with/for a mate at yuor own company, but I'd be
worried you'd fall out over it- Stop telling me what to do!
But I'm your boss?! etc.
