And it is crap. Yes it is. Crap for miles and miles and
miles. Mostly. This would have been a good ep:

1.prague radio
2.rakimou
3.milh
4.spudnik

MMMmmm. yeah.

but seriously Not For Threes is crap :D

If you don't like this, stay away from Plaid - that's my
advice. :)

i love plaid, they just make a lot of crap.

Pretty fucking bad advice, you should say 'if you don't like
double figure, then stay away from plaid' : /

oh, plaid eh?

dang spots is ok, haven't bothered with much else. This

on second listen i like it a lot.

haha sounds fucked up but it's true. i just have a problem
with expecting all songs on an album to be a masterpiece.

plaid is good good good. how is that ep they released this
year? i've seen it around, never had the money. i don't own
any plaid (yet), just burned stuff. it's all awesome stuff
tho. i enjoy how easy it is to listen to :)

p-brane ep is nice, with coat and stills being the best
tracks. wasn't worth the sixteen $ i payed though

its a lovely ep...quite a bit o fhigh tech doodad wizardry
thrown in with the good old loopy and slightly odd Plaid
sense of melody:)

track right there.

Peel Sessions is cool..for the sheer variety of Styles on
there...

my least favourite is Trainer..but even that's got Angry
Dolphin..one of my all time favourite Plaid tracks:)

you didn't like Trainer??? :[

Shiiit, I loved those old school sounds. After listening to
Trainer and BDP - Bytes I realized how much they pioneered
the genre through the late 80's and early 90's.

hmm..I like um..but not love um..like Plaid's other
stuff...and never could get into Black Dog..just sounds too
much like FSOL lite..but that's just me..

this is the problem with too many people. theyre way too
quick to judge. they dismiss albums after only one listen!

what a shame!

"this is the problem with too many people. theyre way too

true true

I really like not for threes its a nice release IMO

I guess if you listen to Double Figuere first I could
understand... but if you want a real shock get the first
peel sessions or some of the black dog stuff....

hehe

I dig all plaids stuff really...

Yay for plaid!

i'm just hardly getting into plaid though... what plaid
album shall i get, seeing as this is the only one i have so
far? i mean, based on my likeing this album, not based on
your favorite plais release. this is to anyone. i also
have spanners. like it as well.

Double Figure..is Kick Arse..the pop lite drum/drill'n'bass
hinted at on some of the tracks of Not for 3's is fully
explored on Double Figure
RestProof Clockwork..is mellower very pretty melodies..but
it has tons of cool hip hop goin on...almost closer to Black
Dog than Plaid

ofcoarse..P-Brane is sublime..but it's only four
songs..leaves a bit unsatisfied..but that's just how good
the tracks are...

aah..that's the thing it's not on any albums....but the
sounds is close to Double Figure/P-Brane..

P-brane is one of my 2002 favs. Get it Get it - seriuously I
think the sound on P-brane is a big step away from double
figure, much more complex, inventive and elaborated.

don't like not for threes, eh?
i love it, i find it better than double figure.
don't know what you don't like about it and why these
particular tracks please you and not the others...

'extork', 'layburst' and 'spudink' are my favorites, but i
wouldn't skip any track.
only the beginning of 'rakimou' i find is weak.

example:

music is roted one note-

first three months: hated it

now (year later): one of my 10 all time favourites
