I'm spending time trying to rebuild old friendships. In some cases it's working and we can pick up where we left off. A year ago my best friend cut me out of his life for reasons I think are petty. Sometimes you don't notice how alone you're getting until your best friend tells you to fuck off and die. |

"Is college the same crap as highschool by the way" no its not, it is VERY different I try to be nice and friendly to people, and do good deeds like holding open doors for people and saying my please's and thank you's always, and letting cars go ahead of me at a 4 way stop. People are starting to catch on that I am a pretty unselfish decent person... I hope that catches someones eye ... cause there is no way in hell I am ever going to try and start a friend ship with anyone else agian.... Luckily I focus most of my energy on making music so that distracs me from myself... try making more tunes Quoth, distract yourself seems to be working with me |

hey, at least you have a person! i got ditched from a 2 and a half relationship because my girlfriend is going to college out in baltimore, maryland & "can't handle the stress" i give her! hah! we're soo fucking far away from each other, the only stress i give her is the phone calls telling her, "i love you!" but... she didn't even say "happy thanksgiving" to me or anything while she was home for the break! what a great way to end it! :) i'm so enthused! |

man, i got in some trouble with soem friends, coz they thought i was the reason this dickhead got caught dealing. the fact that he grows it in the front yard, nah THAT didnt alert anyone, duh. So I spent a year drinkign goon with some ppl i barely knew and not having much fun but i saw some of my old friends at a party and we all got together and sort of sorted it out, we just dont talk about it coz i found out my mum might have leaked something to someone, which shit me off no end.....so yeah we avoid the subject but im back hanging out with them all again. life is good. dude, the point is you just gonna hang in there, cool stuff happens as well as bad stuff and you'll fnid yourself happy before you know it :) |

Yes, by neccesity rather than choice. "Distance makes the heart go wander" and all that... It's one of (few) the disadvantages of people not staying where they were born for the rest of their lives. I rarely see: my brother, my cousins, my best friends and when I was with her, my ex. The only way to deal with it is to make new friends wherever you go. Mind you it's possible to have too many friends, I hate it when people try to drag me down the pub when I want to stay in and make music. In addition to that. I'm the only one I can trust. You can spend a lifetime thinking about how your life should be, or you can start working on it. That sounds easier than it is, I know. You need to think and take time 4 yourself, offcourse. Dont worry. We all have lost lots of friends, sometimes because of college, moving away, fights or even that someone died. We're only human. Dont think about it too heavy. I just can say I feel bad for you. |

Unfortunately we're a bit too smart and start wondering what our purpose on the planet is and get depressed about it when we discover what the fate is of all that we love. Life is very hard sometimes so I try to do everything that makes it more acceptable. I find lots of pleasure in things that are often overlooked. I hope you'll get better. |

What I have noticed on the board is that a lot of people feel like they're an alien. The feeling of just not being understood by their environment. Like neetta said. Having a lot of pals but still feeling lonely. My mates think I am unpredictable. They've known me for minimal 5 up to 20 years. And they still dont have a clue what I'm about or up to. Its an advantage on some areas. |
