anyone knows this band well...?
at least well enough to give me an advice please :)

i'd like an album of theirs... where i command my cds i have
the choice between:
> an awkward pause
> crumb duck
> automating volume 1
> homotopy to marie
> 150 murderous passions
> soliloquy for lilith (2 volumes) (this one is twice the
price of the others)
> thunder perfect mind
> merzbild schweet
> sugar fish drink
> a sucked orange
> brained
> live bar maldoror
> quiet men
> chance meeting on...

the covers of 'an awkward pause' and of 'sugar fish drink'
are attractive, but i shouldn't rely only on the covers of
course...
what do you think please? ' _ '

'Soliloquy for Lilith' is my favorite. It's like Selected
Ambient Works II on algae..

I dont own any of their albums but I do like them a lot and
hope to one day get them all but anyways Id try hmm, maybe a
Sucked Orange, from what I hear it has all their different
styles on 1 disc. but you should listen to everyone else who
has their cds before listening to me.

I've never heard 'A Sucked Orange' myself, but from what
I've heard most people say it's NWW's worst release. My
personal favorites :
1.Soliquy for Lilith
2.The Man with the Woman Face
3.An Awkward Pause
4.Sugar Fish Drink
5.Acts of Senseless Beauty

'Santoor Lena Bicycle' is also amazing, unfortunately it's
temporarily out of print. 'The Selfish Shellfish' with Tony
Wakeford is the favorite of a good friend of mine and I plan
on picking that up soon. Have you heard Nurse With Wound's
collaboration with Current 93 'Bright Yellow Moon'?

I got "Man with the Woman Face" recently and I like it,
especially the third track: "white light from the stars in
your mind". Still, my favourites are the collaborations with
Current 93

"It's a....Paramechanical world.." The Current 93
collaborations are among my favorite too. 'The Sadness of
Things' and 'Musical Pumpkin Cottage' especially.
