i've watched two movies in one day.....and they were long and depressing.
i remember them being movies with STING......and one of the films was 'plenty' can't remember the other. anyway......i had a haddock after....and like i said the movies were BOTH depressing. if i ever do that again i'll mix drama with comedy. hour wise.....couldn't tell you.....felt like 24 tho...i was ready for a nap after....ehehhe
i'm a movie addict.....=0)

Sting, eh? Was it Brimstone and Treacle? That one kinda left me with an ICK feeling, partly because it was mediocre.

I used to have movie marathons with this movie geek guy who was into all the genre stuff: horror, anime, scifi. We'd always watch at least two films per marijuana-laced sitting, with lots of death metal and progressive techno-metal as intermissions.
He introduced me to come good stuff - Jodorowsky, Almodovar, Peter Jackson, Grave of the Fireflies, Zardoz, Dario Argento, Reanimator etc. etc.

Okay, so it has a story? Good! Big plus in my book.
Though come to think of it I enjoyed Koyaanisqatsi and Latcho Drom.

What else was he in.... oh yeah, Dune. He's clad rather skimpily in one scene. Someday I've got to see the long version of that movie and maybe it won't suck quite so hard.

Dune had terrific visuals but what killed it for me was the voice-overs.... "Paul and Chani's love grew" ewwwww shaddup! I understand they were only there because there had been hours cut out of the movie for theatrical release.
