it is good.

"foil" is the first track by ae I ever heard. I thought
"this is what I've been looking for all this time!"

Slip is my favorite track from Amber... it's so bouncy and
happy sounding, yet still bittersweet and melencholic...

amber is great!!i have waited too long before buynig it
because everyone said the newest suff was

with the voice and the beats grows malevolent

mm.. I wouldn't say EP7 was a good intro to ae either, no..
amber is quite good as a first, maybe chiastic slide..

Amber.. hm, not my fav but excellent nonetheless. Montreal
and Silverside are exquisite.. Glitch and Teartear are also
priceless.. it's such an emotional album!

Spacious and gorgeous, but tends to wander on some tracks
and is not particularly well-paced for album. Nonetheless,
very strong work from a duo that was just starting to fell
the groove in their music.

I love Amber in the winter - especially when snow is
falling.

Although I think LP5, EP7 and Confield are amazing, I would
like to hear an update on their ambient sound. It would be
an interesting progression from Confield too.

I think Autechre is the best but I don't care much for
Amber. I am not big on the ambient stuff.

I find Amber nice backround music....I'm not saying it
SHOULD be backround music at all..but for some reason, I
can't listen to it on it's own.

It sounds like a sci-fi movie sound track for me.
Definitively not my favorite ae ; I mean it's pretty
conventional compared to confield or chiastic slides.

'Slip' is a very good song indeed. Although, the more and
more I listen to it, 'Nil' is becoming my favorite track by
them.

my favorite is "further"... this album is great
i got ep7 first (because of the cover...! ' _ -), then lp5,
then gantz graf, then amber _ and every Ae i buy sounds
better than the previous one i bought to me!! :)

sometimes amber sounds like the blend of Ae and Plaid (track
10 or 11)... not a bad thing
