today i decided to choose an old N64 game that i hadnt
played for AGES! i picked up mario 64 and put it in, and
turned on!

I found that I've got 117 stars of 120.... how fucking
annoying is that?!

anyone else at this annoying stage?

I've lost my copy of this fantastic game - but I've
completed it a few times over - the last stage is so fab

I think the farthest up I got was like 70 stars. My best
friend got all the way to 120 though. I don't know how , he
probably cheated.

hmmm, it's really not that hard a game - it's just 100%
fun... i miss my copy :(

I can get 117 stars, the other 3 have always perplexed me...
I swear I must have spent 3 years trying to get the whole
collection. Fucking game.

Which levels are the three stars you're missing? This is
most weird - I'm not very good at computer games, but I
completed this game in a weekend!

I found all 120, but I haven't played it for a very long
time.

I can't remember, it's been ages... but I DO recall looking
at the Star Checklist and thinking, ''what the fuck, I have
everything''... so the three I'm missing must be one of
those non-level secret stars or some shit. Bastard game.

ohhh yeah, of course! I remember those now - they ARE
tricky! :-/ -- One I remember offhand is if you catch the
golden bunny a 2nd time (the one scampering around the
corridors by the Sand and Lava lands) If you catch that a
2nd time once you have more than (I think it's) 50 or 75
stars, you get another one -- Also, watch out for little
toads on the big rooms that house further levels (like I
think there's one in the big room that has the level where
you jump thru the picture) :) Hope that helped even to get
you one more star :)

You know what, on my last save two years ago (the one at
117), I don't think I EVER talked to the Toads... I mean,
what's the fucking point, I know what I'm doing, why should
I ask?

And therein lies the problem, I bet... GYYYAGH! So obvious,
that's UNobvious!

I have all 120. At the begining, there is a slide that you
go down, and get a star in. Now, if you leap over a side
when you are on the slide, it gets you down it much faster.
If you get down the slide in under 21 seconds, then you get
a star. I think it's 21, it might be 18 though...

If I think of more I will tell you guys.

Man this dame fucking rules. I only completed it once.
Whoever said about the Toads is rights and there's two slide
games I think. Fuck me I can't remember. Great game though.
You can get on the roof using a cannon that appears then
just spend ages flying around.

I always thought Yoshi's gift was pointless.. I mean at that
point why would you want to keep playing anyway? I mean,
yeah I like exploring and all but by that point yr so tired
of trying to get stars that you never want to see one of
those levels again.. oh well.. cool idea though.

fun but has little challenge. it's disapointing when you get
to an awesome looking boss like bowser or a giant pissed off
brick wall man, then defeat them in 10 seconds very easily.

That's true... the bosses are less of a threat than a
fucking cave bat.

From what I've played so far, Mario Sunshine has some better
bosses, a couple of them had me spitting on my TV. You know
you're having fun when you're hawking loogies on your screen
in frustration.

the red block switch world the first time i played - but i
started a new save, and got it on first try.

i have 120 stars... makes me happy - i usually suck in video
games :)
