Jay Leno can eat shit. Letterman is okay. Conan can't be
beat (even though his show isn't as good sans Andy).

Jay Leno is a big guy, and Letterman will always be the
scrawny little geek. I'd give odds to Leno in a fair fight,
but Letterman could use that huge jaw as a target and if he
was the only one of the two who knew about the challenge, I
think he'd have a fair chance of sneaking up on Leno and
smashing a pipe or something across his face. That's the
only chance Dave would have there.

Leno over Letterman by about 75 pounds and a Harley.

Lettermand definitely...

Conan is the funniest, but his show isn't as good... his
scripted comedy is pretty lame at times (well, mostly his
monologues, everything else is pretty hilarious)...

I can't stand Letterman. He tells the exact same boring,
dreary, stupid, useless, unintelligent, witless, redundant
jokes every single night. Leno is good at times, I like the
"Headlines"... but most definitely, Conan is the best. I
watch him every night. He's always original and hillarious.

Conan is hilarious... his monologues kind of suck, but he
keeps them mercifully short. His sketches are so sophomoric
and immature, they fucking make me piss my pants!

Conan, totally! Out of the two in question, Letterman is,
without a shadow of a doubt, better. But the best is Conan,
followed by Craig kilborn, believe it or not. He has the
best musical guests, and Conan has the best show and
charisma.

If this was just between Letterman and Leno...I'd have to
say Letterman, I get so bored with Leno but above all Conan.

offline Ubik from United States on 2002-10-12 02:37 [#00401127]

Letterman is vastly overrated, he makes the same exact
self-conscious jokes over and over. i've never understood
why some people call him edgy or non-mainstream, cause he is
nor ever was either... as close as he gets is being an
asshole to his guests, a lot of people like assholes for
some reason... thats why the comic strip Garfield is so
successful, and that asshole at work gets away with avoiding
work and lying about himself

Leno is a dork

Conan is a likeable dork, at least you could imagine him
watching Monty python. he is so uncomfortable going over to
his musical guess and shaking their hands..."good job!" it
makes me uncomfortable too...

Letterman is fantastic.

The "will it float?" and "is this anything?" sketches are so
stupid but hilarious. Especially with that girl who is
grinding her metal bra-plate.

offline Amonbrune from Vancouver (Canada) on 2002-10-12 12:25 [#00401329]

LOL!!! I saw Will it float? last night. they put a
duraflame log in a tub of water and yep it float... floated?
is that a word? floated...float. oh well. that girl with
the metal plate actually scared me...it was something out of
mad max or something lol weirdness...pretty funny segment
though. i just crack up everytime dave shows that Dr. Phil
segment. one was a quick shot of dr. phil scratching his
nose and that was it. halarious. that one was on last
night.

I guess thats because he didn't write them but still...

steals jokes from Jerry Seinfeld (I wish HE had a talk
show!)
