just got back, oh MAN. such a good fucking band live. they
played a "hardcore fan" show tonight, it was mostly ham
fisted and here comes the zoo stuff. such a fucking good
show! oh christ. i've said it before: if you EVER,
EVER get the chance to see them, TAKE IT. they're so
fucking good. one of the best rock bands around. hooo yeah!

i saw them on the 6 days to sunday tour which was pretty
good. got a shirt for $6 (large) it shrunk to the size of
small, its almost impossible to where now, wonder how small
the small shirts got, hate to think about it.

i have all their albums as well, theyre alright. nothing
mindblowing or groundbreaking but decent nonetheless.

theyre were 3 guys when i saw em. 2 are(brian st clare,
scott lucas) in the band and then a touring bass player i
believe.

Scott Lucas (my avatar........) has a guitar that is rigged
with a bass pick-up where the third pickup on a guitar would
normally be.

It is offset to pick up on the two lowest strings on his
guitar (E & ?) That pickup is then sent to a different amp
than his guitar pickups.

Most excellent sound, though they do tour with a third man
from time to time, two kids can't do everything.

MachineofGod is dead on too. It's not ground breaking or
crazy, BUT it's sincere rock that does rock. No appologies.
One of my more favorite bands.

Local H

by third I meant first pickup, as I count in reverse. check
out this enlarged photo of my avatar to see the bass pickup
rigged into his guitar.

why buy their albums if you think they're only "decent"?

i have the 2nd and 3rd which i think are excellent, though i
never listen to them (tastes change).

there's actually usually 4 people. gabe is their road
manager, he comes and sings back up when they need it, or
when they need vocals with effects on it. he also plays the
tambourine.

the other guy, i think his name is scotty, he plays second
guitar and solos and back up vocals that kind of stuff.

also, one of the road managers plays the keyboard (one note
:x) for hands on the bible.

titsworth, i bought them when i liked them a lot more(also i
got hamfisted used for like $3), I bought here comes the zoo
just to see what the new one was like since it took them a
while. still like em but not nearly as much as i used to.
anyone remember that sticker on as good as dead that said
"mommy they say the f word on this cd" or something similar
to that?

local h kicks ass, i was going to see them on their 6WTS
tour, but i had to leave town 2 days before the show :( got
all their albums though, they were one of my favorite bands
when i was into rock, still pop their cd in occasionally, or
when im really fucking pissed off.

obviously regardless of where they lived, I would like them
to tour near my parts even a little compared to how much
they tour their hometown area.

better?
