I'm sorry, but does she actually have a lyric in her song
"addictive" that goes..

"he returns my pages"..?

how romantic.

I thought it was "He turns mt pages" as in, she's like a
book and helps her progress?

qrter is right about the lyric

honestly, i've noticed the cliche of the lyrics before but
they're SO forgivable in light of:
1. the brilliance of the track (who knew dj quik had it in
him?)
2. the fire rakim spits in his cameo
3. truth hurts' singing! she nails that shit. i saw her live
a few weeks ago on the smokin' grooves tour, she can pull it
off in concert too.

I downloaded the instrumental version as I found the RnB
crap singing rather annoying. Rakim is perfectly at home in
this song though. Wish he had done the song without the
crappy RnB singers

there's just one "RnB singer" on the song. the artist is
truth hurts. the guest artist is rakim, who raps one verse.
the producer is dj quik. this is one of my favorite
mainstream songs in the last two years.

only kind of RnB-y song I liked the last few months was
"miss dy-na-mi-tee" by the girl Dynamite, although her voice
is mixed too loud (and too harsh) imo..

i've only learned about her recently, scanning nme.com's
headlines. in the u.s. no one's heard of her, and i've never
heard any of her music.. what don't you like about
"addictive"?
