I can't be sure but I think it could have been TORQUE, the no-u-turn release by Nico, Ed Rush, Nico and Fierce, I still think it's one of the best electronic albums I've heard as far as drum and bass is concerned, I always find myself going back to that album for inspiration

I depends on what you consider electronic: Depeche Mode? Art of Noise? I bought Black Celebration in 1986. I got hold of "In no sense nonsense" by art of noise in 1989. And when I think of it I did get Pet Shop Boys' "Please" in 1985, and thats kind of electronic as well. Computer World by Kraftwerk I bought in 1989...
