I can't be sure but I think it could have been TORQUE, the
no-u-turn release by Nico, Ed Rush, Nico and Fierce,
I still think it's one of the best electronic albums I've
heard as far as drum and bass is concerned, I always find
myself going back to that album for inspiration

I don't get it. electricity is required to play records and
compact dicks.

What about everyone's 7th purchased album. Does this one
have any more significance?

offline titsworth from Washington, DC (United States) on 2002-09-09 08:28 [#00384882]

yea me too - the downward spiral. then PHM, then amp, then

I depends on what you consider electronic: Depeche Mode? Art
of Noise? I bought Black Celebration in 1986. I got hold of
"In no sense nonsense" by art of noise in 1989. And when I
think of it I did get Pet Shop Boys' "Please" in 1985, and
thats kind of electronic as well. Computer World by
Kraftwerk I bought in 1989...

"Fuck! There's music like this?", when I saw the video for
'Mindphaser'. Cool video too.

probably youthquake by dead or alive or the age of consent
by bronski beat (both 1984). do they count as electronic?

What's the name of that Bronski Beat video in which Jimmy
Somerville gets beaten up, for what at first seems to be the
fact that he is gay, but transpires to be his misshapen
head?

The Richard D James Album... when I think of electronic
music, that's the first one that comes to mind, it's just so
essential.

Kid A is kind of electronic... but I don't count it as one.
