Is it just my computer fucking with me, or does anyone else
see a Panamanian flag obscuring part of the Google logo at
the top of the search results page?

same with me, it looks normal...
but they do modify their logo sometimes, for olympic games,
christmas, etc...

Well, the logo is made from 4 different gif images. It was
the bottom of the second g that was replaced. Anyway I
deleted the file (res3.gif) from my cache and it seems to be
OK now.

But I checked another forum, and I don't appear to be the only one that this
has happened to.

is ist google.com?..they have a lot of local mirror type
sites all over the place..annoying as hell..as they search
for the stuff locally...
there should be a link under the search field that
says..google.com..click on that and it gets you to the US
site

Sometimes I think Google adds new pictures to the logo for
no reason at all. (Boring old usual morning, and suddenly-
polar bears! What a surprise, but maybe it was polar bear
day or something. I like Google.)

Aaaagh! It's happening again!


Take a look at this page.

Do you see a yellow "o" or a posh-looking guy with a
shit-eating grin on his face? Unless it's the latter, I'm
either going insane or someone's doing this on purpose to
mess with my mind.

P.S. It's definitely not one of Google's normal "altered
logo" things. Firstly, because everyone would see it;
secondly because it isn't on the main page; and thirdly
because it just looks too crap. And it's meaningless.

P.P.S. This is not a wind-up.
