extended edition as PG-13.

Awww, what a day woke up at 11 to have Lord of the Rings
sitting on my DVD player, I finished watching it now and
still freaking out about it

I can't wait for the Two Towers---its gonna be
great.......Its an adventure story not a R rated sex movie.

Good and Evil!

I'm waiting for the 4 disc myself as it has far more stuff
on it. I've had the film on my pc for months anyways...

Later...or probably sooner then that, its a bit more
expensive and more shit, I'll get that with the Two Towers

that's Nov 12, I think, for the super-deluxe edition and the
ultra-super-secret-deluxe edition. It's the director's cut
with about 30 minutes of extra footage and some
behind-the-scenes crap.

i'm getting the 4 disc set....i like EXTRA features and
schtuff.....i always run out and by the DVD first week it
comes out then the super deluxe version comes out
later........so this time i'm WAITING!

it's gonna be hard tho....*starts biting nails in
anticipation* =0)

i've got the two disc and can say its quite good, suprising
amount of extra features including a ten minute preview of
Two Towers.
That movie will be great, as long as they stick to the book.

the extra's on the two disc weren't too appealling.
i did like the two towers preview.

They deserve the $, they took a pretty big risk with the
films.

I think they are fooling around a bit with the DVDs, I have
a feeling they aren't exactly advertising the fact that
there is a 4 disc set due in a few months at stores. I guess
it pays to be informed.

there will be a 1-6 set...i've already spent waaaaaaaaay to

come on man, fantasy stuff is great... I'm a fantasy freak
myself... I read it, play it sometimes, and LIVE IT!!! See,
I'm really a hobbit, but just pretend to be a human!!

I actually saw the movie for the first time today... it was
amazing... great special effects, the acting was good, and
scenery and stuff was great, and it's obviously a great
story... The Two Towers will definitely be better, because
it's deeper into the story... can't wait for it!!

Geek! You wish you could be cool like me. I spent all
evening playing a general manager hockey simulator program.
Too cool to fool, brutha, too cool to fool.

I like fantasy, but I can't get into it when everyone is a
freak little person or some wizard. Dunno why... I love role
playing video games, but ONLY when they buck the trends of
''dragons and spells and treasure'' and everything. Some
dark, realistic edge like Midgar in Final Fantasy 7. Bad
ass, and not an ugly little dwarf in sight!

The extra 1/2 hour look like they'll be pretty
cool....there's a bit about em on the 2 Disc
version....basically it's a directors cut with a lot of bits
from the book back in place...

I was gonna wait and get the 4 disc version but we so wanted
to see it again I just had to buy this current
version...will no doubt end up buying it again come November
tho...

I'm no big fantasy fan....generally far too cliched..but
LOTR is def one of fave films & books...most other fantasy
stuff is just a shadow of Tolkein really...
