I swallowed all of the pills and fell asleep, spinning. Waking up the next morning, I was in a different place. A place unlike Earth. The architecture of everything around me... was geometric, and very luminescent.. architecture. I realized this entire place's light source was these objects! The plants, the mountains, tiny pebbles were cubes and triangles. Most triangles. Some of them moving on their own and others just resting, and glowing with purple, blue and greenish lights. They were neon with very calm, glowing colors and I could see-through them. I got up to climb one of the larger mountains I'd seen, taking frequent naps along the way and sometimes stopping to look at the large, spinning galaxies above the sky, the colors were so beautiful, just moving and interacting like people would. Reaching the top of the mountain, I saw civilization! But there were no buildings! It was only people, individuals. I walked down to introduce myself. |

they petted me and fed me fish and sausers of milk. they tickled me under the chin. they gave me a litter tray made out of flakes of snow. |

these people looked very strange... their eyes were triangular too, and they didn't seem to be able to speak, or to emit any sounds; they were communicating with their eyes instead. they could change the color or their weird eyes. when they saw me, their eyes lit up green... maybe it was expressing surprise? i hope it weren't expressing fear, nor willing to fight or appetite! one of them walked towards me... it seemed to be a female. her eyes were lit up green too, but not of the same green... it was rather yellowish green. i was very confused, not knowing what it meant. maybe she was some sort of leader. i started to be very afraid as she opened her mouth, and something ressembling to a snake came out of it... |

her cybernetic hand was cold and metallic, but i could still recognize the female touch. it was soft and soothing to feel and had tiny blue and purple wires coming off the back of it. |

as we entered the weird place, which looked like a garden around a temple, the other people started to fade then disappeared... her eyes turned completely yellow, and she started to move towards me a strange way... she opened her mouth again, but this time she was saying or singing something... of course, i didn't understand a single word, and she noticed it. she looked a bit upset, said something... and then a metallic probe came out of her head and entered mine — i was really scared... but i could understand her language through the probe... she said "i'm going to take you to the machina priest, you need this to survive in our world", and took me to the temple... |

lol dingle berry ^^ ...and then little aliens, probably kids, came in the temple, laughing and giggling... they said to me "don't worry we were just kidding! sleep now, it's not done!", and injected me some substance with a squirt. then i fell asleep/unconscious again. i don't know how much time it took, but when i woke up again i felt strange, a little heavy and cold... i touched my hands and realised they were made of metal and... well, it was a tremendous shock for me — i had become an alien! i got out of the temple... the alien girl was waiting for me, when she saw me arriving, her eyes turned pink. sign that she was happy (now i could understand this weird eye color language. it was used only to express feelings; otherwise, the oral language was used). i made my eyes go blue and said "hello"... "hi, stranger! sorry for the incident... the kids had been playing... how do you feel in your new body?" "w... well, it's ok but i still... have to get used to it i guess..." "don't worry, you'll get used to it... come with me, i'll introduce you to the tribe..." "thanks... but... you know.. since i arrived in this world, i don't understand half of the things happening... you don't seem that surprised! what happened? and what's your name anyway? mine's tom" she started laughing and replied "i know your name was tom! but you'll have to choose another name here... mine's kali... as for what happened to you, you'll understand later! i don't know how you got these pills, but now that you're here, it will be very hard to get you back!" "how... how come did you know about my name and the pills?!" she seemed to be amused when i asked this... she just smiled, and remained silent... |

These people grabbed my arm very harshly and slapped me around. They asked me if i knew afecks tin and I said no. i approached them with a raised eyebrow. "what is afecks tin?" One of the group dressed in luminesent clothing came up to me. He was about my size and was obviously these peoples' leader...a king perhaps. He rubbed his chin gracefully. "Afecks tin is of something grand my son" His belly wobbed because he was fat...not phat..he was fat. He fell down to the ground and rolled and laughed. Some nearby helped him back up. "You stupid earthling!" He shouted at me. Slapped me across the face and gave me the finger. I woke up with a cold sweat in my bed. I realized I had just eaten my own pillow. |

sorry, but i'd rather start from your follow-up... :) ...then i realized i wasn't in my bed, but in a bed in a weird room... it was like a fake room, made for a theater piece or something, and i had tubes attached to my body, like tubes in hospitals to feed people when they can't feed themselves... i could hear weird noises on the outside, and strange devices were in the room as well... then a guy, dressed in a white uniform, entered my room and looked astonished... — oh...! you finally woke up! hello... — h... hello, but... w—who are you? where am i? where's kali? why are your eyes not triangular? wh... — please, calm down!! you just passed thirty-four years in some sort of coma... — w... what? thirty-four years? you're kidding! — i'm afraid i'm not! remove your feeding tubes, get up and look outside your window... as i looked outside, i realized to my horror that he was right... everything had changed, and even a lot more than i could expect from thirty-four years in the coma... it was a weird city filled with weird vegetation, weird animals, weird people, weird beings that i couldn't tell if they were people or animals, weird buildings... — oh... my... god... — calm down, sit down. as you can see, lots of things have changed when you were in your coma; that's because we have established contact with people from other planets. they helped us fight pollution, we collaborated with them to develop science, technology and stuff... you'll have to get used to that! he grinned, obviously trying to reassure me. in vain — i was terrified. — i'll show you everything you need to see and explain everything you need to know, don't worry. — b—but... my wife... my house... my pets... — yeah, well... huh... i can't really help you for this... and... * oh, hello kali! the door opened again, and kali, the same alien that was in my dream, entered. she grinned at me. the same grin, again. she seemed to be aware that i already knew her from my dream. — she's my assistant! she comes |

the man in the white uniform said to me as kali entered the room that he had to go because he had other patients to see... and i was left alone, with kali in my room. — hello, tom! are you allright? — yeah, thanks kali... do you know... i already know you? nice to meet you again! — yes, i noticed that! that's because... that's quite a long story. when you swallowed your pills, you fell in coma - you were really close to death in fact - and stood in your bed for three weeks... then your neighbours started to worry about you, they called the police, and when they found you they brought you to the hospital. unfortunately, your coma was kind of... special, and no one managed to bring you back. so they did what they could to keep you alive, and you stood like this for... twenty-nine years (it's a miracle that you survived that long!). in 2028, people coming from òjnìda VIII (including me) came to earth; citizens, scientists, doctors, artists, etc. we collaborated with humans, they learned a lot of things from us and we learned a lot of things from them as well... i'm a doctor. i got a job in this hospital, and i managed to bring you back from your coma — progressively. i won't tell you all the details, but i saw you open your eyes, while you were still in coma... you stared at me... this could explain why i was in your dream. (i thought... this would explain why i saw her in my dream, but not why i knew her name and everything! she must have hidden me something... but i preferred not to say anything about it.) — so... you saved my life, right? — no, not entirely! i just woke you up... the people who saved your life are the doctors of this hospital! the doctor mills is one of them. — doctor mills...? is he the person i saw when i woke up? — yes, it's him! now, if you feel right, would you mind we going to the coffee shop together? (oh, btw... the scene plays in amsterdam, in 2036. and 34 is the number of parts of dante's inferno if i remember :)) |
