no I am not... nowadays the only real fact is that by circumsizing you avoid problems when having sex, such as those cases in which the affected cannot take the skin back (know what I mean: phimosys) |

I think it has been proved conclusively that the foreskin serves no function in modern human life and is an appendage ( like the coccyx ) which is totally pointless. The sensory glands in the penis have nothing to do with the foreskin, so basically it makes fuck all difference. Some people need it removed for health reasons and losing it doesn't = a big deal at all. Its also better done before puberty because getting an unwanted stiffy during the weeks of healing could cause agony and regression in the healing process, and I don't think most adolescents could imagine going 6 minutes without getting a hard-on let alone 6 weeks :) |

Americans started the trend to circumcize most Christian boys, just after they were born, around a century ago (maybe late 19th century-ish)... the vague "sanitary/health" conditions excuse is commonly used... but the REAL reason (they didnt really like to openly talk about sexual things) was that psych doctors thought that circumcizing would make boys stop masturbating so much, because it would not feel as good... because they thought that daily masturbation turned men into perverts and criminals, and the churches thought if the penis had less feeling guys would stop being obssessed with sex so much.... which suppossedly leads them to a life of sin.... ....IT DID NOT WORK! they cut off my foreskin for nothing, the bastards! American christians would never intentionally imiatate Jews, they just thought they were making the world a better, less perverse place, the fools... |

im not i only found out recently that its actually very popular to be circumcized in north america! i agree about the cleanliness thing... we're clean enough these days, what with showers and soap and all btw, the thing about aids: the skin on the inside of the foreskin apparently is very thin and whimpy and stuff (like HIV) can actually pass through much more easily than other places...... thats why statisticaly circumcized men in africa have lower chances of getting aids (i saw a documentary about it a few months ago) |
