sacrifice himself for our sins. His name was, The Joker

I downloaded a streamrip with hardcoded korean subs and
watched five minutes, might watch the rest someday. It's
about a sad clown.

I don’t know who he his but I’m pleased that I’ve
found out you can be put in a coma to skip the shit bits of
life.

How much do you think it costs to go under for 5-10 years?

For some reason the first thing I thought of was when Tom
cruise gets his new eyeballs in minority report.

sorry about that, but seriously, i had a better opinion of
you on here than this.

pretty sad to see ppl in this thread, and this forum,
calling this dude poisonous, and all the rest of it. He may
be a bit highly strung but his main thing is that ppl get
themselves in order before they start tellin other ppl what
to do.

Also, i think the reason he came to prominence was that he
wouldn't accept the legal compulsion in Canada to have to
learn about a whole new way to address people otherwise face
legal consequences.
A number of people on a number of forums - chenGod on WATMM
for example - were scoffing at this - sayin 'well, NORMAL
PEOPLE won't have to do it, only businesses' - does this not
expose their thinking? That NO ONE THEY KNOW actually runs a
business, or possibly even is self-employed, and it is
unthinkable that anyone would?

proper episode starts

I’ve agreed with Peterson before, been left confused, and
often disagreed. But I don’t get the anger he causes. He
might not be all that but it’s not a reason for me to
start rejoicing at the fact he’s a very poorly man. People
saying he’s getting what he deserves are being cunts.

Greta Thunberg is another one that causes a lot of anger I
don’t particularly understand. It comes across petty, with
a hint of jealousy.

his main thing is that ppl get themselves in order before
they start tellin other ppl what to do.

The nexus of wealth and power funds and promotes "every man
for himself" ideologies (like Jordan Peterson) out of self
defense: divide and conquer. They want workers competing
with one another, because they know cooperation works. If
you're rich and powerful you want to deal with the poor and
weak one on one, not collectively in the form of, say, a
union. Cooperation is scary when lower class folk do it, and
very, very unfair! Never mind structural change, poors, go
clean your rooms.

This explains why Jordan Peterson got to publish his
rambling "wash your penis, boys" nonsense in the National
Post, Canada's right wing noise machine.

Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, in regards to views and

I never got into jordan peterson, richard dawkins or
christopher hitchens. I read william lind, peter hitchens,
and martin van creveld. Fat lot of good it did me lol.
I’ve said this a few times but Id rather have mates than
strongly held beliefs. I’m a bit wary of left and right
and centre ground these days.

ah man I love Christopher Hitchens even if he does seem a
bit self involved

but yeah as you say everything is really polarised today, if
you say you agree with say Peterson on one point then some
people see that as tacit approval of everything else he as
ever said

I guess most of the people who hate peterson are karl marx
fans. Socialism hasnt been tried yet bernie bots. They are
Godless which makes them on the wrong side of history. These
days the only thing I strongly believe in is the existence
of God

offline DADONCK from here on 2020-02-14 23:43 [#02595067]

whats funny is, that peterson's stuff works because he is
mainly talking to himself. that makes his stuff believable

i always thought he is a bit too introverted for what he's
doing. i bet he took drugs, in order to get going. such a
rockstar move

If you believe in God it’s natural to believe in an
afterlife and in the human soul that’s something to be
treasured. When the dead are resurrected things like deep
space travel will be possible and exploring the universe.

For me there is objective evidence that God exists. The fall
of Kaiser Wilhelm II brought about the end of Christianity
as a majority religion on the European continent. Jesus
isn’t coming to save the day. The second is the formation
of Israel, which fulfilled written and oral prophecies from
thousands of years ago. To me that is proof enough. Jewish
law was given to a chosen people to spread knowledge of God
around the world via the prophet Moses. The Torah says that
Israel must appoint a king. It is a holy law. Belb how do
you explain the existence of the modern state of Israel? It
is explained by ancient writings, given by God.

When the dead are resurrected

it's this bit i have trouble with. where's the evidence? and
don't count scripture or things that have been "revealed" to
you

i'm sorry to be blunt and i know your belief is sincere but
your fear of eternal torture (stated elsewhere) isn't doing
you any favours; wouldn't you like to be free? never mind
anything else like jewish supremacy or resurrection

We hate Peterson because he propagandized tens of thousands
of our young boys into joining the modern-day equivalent of
the Hitler Youth—the "Intellectual Dark Web"—and hate is
the only rational response to this kind of exploitation of
our young boys. Personally I think death is too good for
Peterson and his cohort who are taking advantage of our
young boys. I'd like to see him serve a 1000-year simulated
prison sentence for every single one of our young boys he
has radicalized. We need to protect our young boys from
predators like Peterson and Ben Shapiro.

israel was created in 1948 after it was captured by the
british from the ottoman empire, right? the scripture
required the creation of israel but it was a political act
not the fulfilment of a prophecy.

it was understandable for jews to need sanctuary from
persecution and after the holocaust it's pretty obvious why
the league of nations cut em a break, but that doesn't make
it divinely ordained

you've probably got a greater knowledge of the scripture but
just because jews originally came from the holy land
(growing out of the canaanites) does it mean god gave it to
them? i mean we mostly all come from the fertile crescent if
you go back far enough, right?

this all rests on god and the soul's existence anyway. just
because some dude was hearing voices back in 1000bce doesn't
make it ok for the israeli government to act like assholes
3000 years later. and the resurrection thing, where are you
getting that from? no scripture allowed!

well exactly, trying to pin structural problems on
individuals, even on loud voices like Peterson, is foolish.
You can't address structural problems with personal
solutions any more than you can treat a flood with a mop.

The difference is, Peterson however wrong, seems earnest.
Shapiro is a grifter and he knows it. He's out to say the
most inflammatory things to go viral. Everything is
calculated. You'd be talking to a persona, not a person.

If an individual poses such a threat that catastrophic
failure is imminent, one's first priority should be to deal
with that individual. Terminate baby Anakin before he can
turn to the Dark Side, then deal with the capitalist
imperialist system that produced him. It's always a good
idea to brush up on your Game Theory every few years my
friend. True, you're not going to stop a flood with a mop,
but if you can use the mop to plug a levee threatening to
burst... As they say, only a Sith deals in absolutes.
