now the track is exchanged?!?! wow, the 4:32 preview-track
was another unreleased track.... weird! (did anyone managed
to grab the 320 Kbps version of it?)

ya, tis a real beauty. love how the bass is pitched to sound
like some kind of wooden bells (if that makes any sense) and
how the overall beat is so deeeply buried in reverb, it's
like the track is merely dreaming itself. think i got my
perfect continuation of subrange 3 right there.

subrange 3, yep, another good one.

The other preview track was something different? You've got
to be quick with these Ae type.

I don't really get Perlence losid 2. Sounds like a quieter
section of Perlence put through some beat repeating thing,
for 5 minutes or however long it is.

Perlence Suns is still my favorite.

yeah, this is the preview track that was laid out first:

11 - Perlence losid 2 (wrong preview?) 4:32

it is.

Ohhh, and a nice track too, I'm going to say this is final
track in the series Perlence Subrange 6. Yes.

nah, that's just what iTunes thinks (don't know about
winamp) - if you open it up in a wave editor (or quicktime
player) you see that it's 4:32....

(iTunes can't get the tracklenght of 32Kbps mono-files right
it seems...)

Argh I downloaded the track at work and I didn't have a USB
cable so I couldn't transfer it to my mp3 player :/ And of
course those silly Bleeps won't let me download it again!

Anyone willing to send me the mp3 of Perlence Losid 2?
Otherwise I'll have to wait until tomorrow... Check my
profile for my e-mail address.

that wrong preview thing, if it is only 4:32 minutes, is
just 9010171-121.
why isn't anyone getting this?
in my itunes it appears as 12:13 minutes. strange shit.

They've re-enabled the wrong track! Idiots!

I just got the last 3.

9010171-121 takes me back to LP5/EP7 era just a lil. Best
of the 3. It has the badass groove of something like of
Ccec or Tewe.

chenc9-1dub - goofball acid, sure why not. I warmed up to
this cut a bit, although I think I prefer something like
Acroyear II for a similar listen. Chenc9 stayed in that
mode just the right amount of time before going into that
second movement, whereas this just stays there the whole
track. Some of the notchiness on the synths in the
dub v is cool though.

Perlence losid 2 is cool in a plastikman sub present groove
kinda way. I think they make pretty good use of beat
repeat, but I wish they had some more tonal changes or
something. I feel about this song how I feel about Rale.
Its cool and all, has a neat vibe, but they've done similar
better before.

with one autechre remixing basic channel, and the other
basic channel remixing autechre. needles to say it got
really sticky

I miss the days when 1/2 of the threads on xltronic were in
some way about the latest Autechre release. Does anyone
remember that one guy who rambled on about the significance
Untilted and Draft 7.30 had with respect to the meaning of
the universe?

Those were the days

LOL.

He was right about Untilted though.
A misunderstood and underappreciated masterpiece.
I cherish Untilted more than any other.

I didn't really get why people didn't like untilted... I
like it a lot better than draft or confield too, even if I
love those as well, but untilted was a great album on first

Notwontwo shouldn't be any longer now...

minutes? wtf....

If it's really 140 square minutes, then the last track,
which is supposed to be an EP by itself, should be 49min and
11 sec... we'll see tomorow !

offline beNito from Paris (France) on 2008-05-29 09:27 [#02211140]

which is a lot.... I really don't want to build my hopes up
for a live set ish thing, but still, I'm building my hopes
up for that thing.... But anyways, even if that last track
is never released, I'm already pleased with what I've got so
far, it did cost me some money, but that's some well spent
money, this is so much better than just having quaristice
alone and wait another 3 years for another album....
