LAZY_TITLE

Don't get discouraged by trying to compare your own music to
this. Just go at your own pace; It takes a lot of hard work
and dedication before you can make stuff like this.

Please write some motivation in there somewhere.

Actually, I've always loved megaman/etc style music and this
is the first approach I've done that is even remotely
similar but still not as good obviously. This is what I do
in this approach (only using white keys of c major scale):

fart) make a 'rhythm' type of melody (fairly repetitive)
using only 3 white keys that preferably pretty much always
have at least 1 white key as a space between. Note how you
always have a low key, a middle key, and a high pitch key.
gopher) Now make a complete duplicate version of this, only
using 3 other keys. Keep the exact same low/middle/high
structure relative to the first, only with the 3 other keys
instead.
milk) now just past certain sections of the other 'versions'
into the original where it sounds good. The whole song tends
to have the same basic rhythm melody I think.
fart2) the other notes and stuff are more free like fast
stab sequences or long tones or whatever, as long as it
follows the same keys as the current 3-key section being
played as described above
H) whatever

i actually felt like i was in an amusement arcade in the
early 1980's
those wonderful sounds of musical genius squeezing
everything possible out of the equipment and creating catchy
and intricate tunes.

all i really needed was the smell of salt n vinegar and the
sounds of shoot em ups in the background!

Psoooshh Pooooshhh

Motivation is hard to program. I think I'll give you some
laziness, and maybe some depression if you're lucky.
I just thought of a way to make this much less of a pain in
the ass in modplug tracker... instead of putting all the,
say, c's/e's/g's in the same column 'channel', I could
divide the 3 notes into three seperate channels. Then I
could simply select the whole channel and raise or lower all
the notes to any other note without fucking up the notes I
don't want to raise/lower. Wow.

I love the fact that artificial intelligence has become so
personable. Who programmed you, w M w?

It's a pale imitation of nintendo fun. You've got a shitty
sound track with out a good game. As you know, you are
going to go far.

I programmed me via the ultimate bootstrap, then epohs, then
god in that order. I didn't program jivverdicker; I think
he's some sort of emergent virus. Thanks for the review and
sorry about dissin your dead friend. Here's another one.
This one is kinda funny. I still suck at going from one
section to the next but at least I made a change that didn't
sound completely like ass, just 99% like ass which is a
pretty good improvement after a decade of failures. Merry
christmas to everyone!

At first I thought I had uncovered a flaw in your
code-matrix in that you didn't follow-up to me in spite of
the first portion of the post being in reply. Then I read
further and discovered that it was simply your nature, when
finding yourself in a 2-person-follow-up situation, to
calculate which person the post is most directed to and
allocate the follow-up accordingly.

That last awesome and memorable reply I made was actually to
freqy. I screwed up.

The smallest triangle in this picture:
LAZY_TITLE
represents xltronics follow-up system. It's like a crude few
squares trying to represent a big complex triangle that
represents all the follow-up combinations that are possible.
It gets the job done, but crudely and we sometimes have to
make do.

Some people would say the smallest triangle in that picture
is one of the black square divided in two, diagonally. Those
people are usually ignored.

Actually I guess none of them are triangles since they are
made of pixels and you can't make a true triangle out of
those, just a blocky approximation. Also if you could
divide one square into two true triangles you could further
divide those. I have to diarrhea.

That's but one of the many gourmet sounds bundled in
the fine pallette of modplug tracker.

Here's another one. Am I getting better or worse at
suckifying super modplug style?

ophecks smells like brocolli

And I hope I mispelled brocolli.
