Dunno what you mean. Maybe my syntax was wrong (with the placement of "nicht") but i meant "I cannot imagine" -- sich vorstellen, second verb and konnen as the primary verb I'd say you're right though, as I said, my german's become a bit shite.. Gonna start reading some Heinrich Boll short stories before bed from now on over the summer to revise |

This is probably not because your english classes are shit -- however unenjoyable they are -- but because on xlt you're forced to write exclusively (although you didn't at the beginning) in English. That's really all that's required for learning a language: using it. It's very, very difficult to be able to USE a language without putting yourself in this sort of environment; posting on a net messageboard, going on a student exchange to an english-speaking country or whatever. I would reccomend a student exchange trip, or even a long holiday to an english-speaking country. You'll see your command of the language increase by leaps and bounds. |

yes, you're totally right. another my teacher (italian) has recommended to us students to go in england for 1/2 months.. this would be really great. my english would improve a lot. infact i was thinking the next year to go there. |
