Some interesting points of, er, interest: There are moments when any particular mod might not actually be looking at the board and so some crap may slip by. Simply because a mods name isn't in the list to the left doesn't mean they're not browsing the board. And even if they're at the bottom it doesn't mean they're not refreshing. All it takes is a deleted cookie. I personally feel that most topics are ok. Obvious shit that stays shit gets closed, flames get closed and too-NSFW topics get closed (not marked as such). I won't close things just cos I don't like them or cos someone annoys me. (Given the restrictions of the first point) Closing a topic (or deleting it) should be the first and most common course of action. Banning should be a last resort and perm banning only when all else fails. This shouldn't be commonplace. That said, folk who sign up just to arse about. Such as creating a user called "orange" who just posts "peel" and a user called "peel" who just posts "orange", alternately. They're getting the b7 right up their jacksy. And finally. Nothing. I'm sure I had more points in mind but they're gone now. |

Yeah well that was, just off the wall in terms of madness. All I was saying was, that maybe other people could help out on the content if not the structure of the new site. I just think the lack of updates and the likliehood of them seeming to dwindle will probably affect the standard of the board, as it dips and dips unenthusiastically below the water, the loyal members being picked off by enuuii one by one, and feral rat boys climbing on board sinking the ship further with their ignorance, "nonsense" and smileys. |

I don't really understand anymore. Chavs topic got shut with a sarcastic flourish, and I didn't really see the problem with that. Maybe there should be a vague outline of what the board is trying to achieve, clearly it is trying to do something else it wouldnt need all this moderating. Theres always silly pointless topics here, either shut them all or don't shut any. |

Yes, I suppose, or have some kind of form to send stuff for it to be reviewed by, you know, people that can check it. I mean I suppose it depends what areas there were, news, releases, articles, history, FAQs, scans, all that. Oh I don't know, I haven't a clue what the site's even meant to be, so my input is irrelevant at best. |
