[crap] i wish he woundl't have called the track tundra4, other than the atmospheric sound that is similar to the one in the original, this track is nothing like the first. i guess that's the idea, when you remix. but i still think he should have called it something different. tundra is one of my favorite tracks of all time.. i would prefer it on cd but i'd rather not go through the trouble of setting up an ebay account and the possibility of paying a bunch for it. i was lucky to get the last 12" only squarepusher release (squarewindow) on cd. someone here posted that action-records.co.uk had the promo of it and i bought it. unfortunately they don't have venus no 17 at the moment. |

Just find someone who has the promo and ask them for a lossless copy, such as flac, and burn your own. And if you own the 12" thats perfectly legal :) |

i got this today. free home video vinyl + peel sessions vol. 1 cd + various promotional posters, postcards, etc. nice. i did experience my first ever warp mess up though. they sent me the wrong hecker cd. i may not say anything because i was going to get the one i got eventually. on the topic of venus no. 17. it has serious volume issues. i think a three year old mixed the tracks in the songs together on this. i'd like to hear the promo cd and see if it's any different. |
