Blue Album - Orbital

http://www.loopz.co.uk/discog/album/images/bluecd.jpg

The next Orbital album is finished and will be released on
June 21st 2004 on Orbital's own label - Orbital Music.

1. Transient
2. Pants
3. Tunnel Vision
4. Lost
5. You Lot
6. Bath Time
7. Acid Pants
8. Easy Serv
9. One Perfect Sunrise

The new album features a variety of collaborations including
Sparks, Lisa Gerrard and Instrumental. More information will
be released soon...

Sparks were made famous by their 1974 single "This town aint
big enough for both of us". They have since released 19
albums. Sparks said "Paul (Hartnoll) contacted us and asked
if we'd be interested in collaborating in some way for their
new album. It was a process of them sending us a track which
they wanted us to come up with some vocal elements. We took
their track in our studio in LA, and then came up with the
line, 'when the laugh track starts, then the fun starts.' It
was in various permutations to fit with their track. We sent
our work back to the guys in Brighton and they spliced and
diced"

9 tracks, old Orbital style artwork, colour named album.
Return to form?
Really, really unpromising track titles like Pants and You
Lot, collabs with mildly famous people. The Altogether II?
We'll see, I suppose.

I can't wait for another orbital release but i'm not
thrilled with "collaborations" The altogether was shitty
minus a track or two.

wow, it's been a long time since the altogether came out.

and i'm still glad i bought it simply because the second
disc was so fucking awesome. they should have just released
that instead of the first disc.

It better not be in "The Altogether" territory. I want
insides and MON wrapped into one, with a bit of new orbital
spice.

argh..

The cover looks nice and reminds of the brown one, but
Orbital have really sucked hard after Insides, so I'm not
holding my breath. Are the titles printed on the cover? :)

Hah, what a coincedence...

Just been on an Orbital spree lately, though I've only
recently got into them. I now own both "Snivilisation" and
"In-Sides", not very glamorous I know, but I'll pick the
rest up soon hopefully...

But yeah, new album looks interesting! :)

its much better than the altogether, i think fans of their
old material will really like it. its worth getting just for
'acid pants' alone :)
