It really is a waste of hours.
I have had a bad relationship with sleep recently.

There are many worries and when I try to sleep I cannot stop
thinking.

My dreams are usually tense but really vivid and fantastic-
so I don't fear them.

Oh far too much to get into...
personal problems but also huge amounts of work to be done
in a short period..
and the earthquakes and curfew are not helping!

Ok, and now you feel even more exhausted because these
problems piled up on top of what you already had to deal
with?

Yes. Quite correct. I now have a short time of a new and
very difficult project- in addition to all of what has gone
on before. This is why I awake so often. I sleep when I
collapse.
lol!

lol yes i am talking to doctors. haha

The project is one whereby in less than a month I have to
prepare a music set with a broken sound card, prepare a
visual show, AND prepare for an academic panel discussion
with a scholar of many years experience...!

Well, if sex is not available maybe try sleeping pills.
Diphenhydramine and alcohol is what i use, cuz it is freely
available without a prescription. But i guess thats not a
good idea

It complex. I am on medication.
But it is not working and we have to reconsider it.

I never said anything about something being unavailable! lol

What kind of medication? Antidepressants? What kind of
doctor? A psychotherapist? Here is a massive hint, they are
all worthless

Many more hours would be here for us to use as we wish. Not
just work. But, yes, work would be done.

Well only if you feel like it. Privacy issues shouldn't
worry you, this board is anon.
Personally i've been to three therapists and i often found
it comical, because there was really not much i could tell
that person.

Some is too private. But I have had 'difficulties' since I
was 3 at least - I don't remember back that early but I
remember other times. It's complex.

I'm on more than antidepressants.

You were born in egypt, did this somehow make things even
more complex for you when you were a child?

I love Egypt.
Sorry by the way I missed your message.

But in answer, I think I would be happier in Egypt. I love
NZ too but nothing beats my native land.

More sleep more energy, less sleep less energy for longer
period of time, which results in poor performance and
disappointment. But if you work not intelligent work it is
vice versa.

Gotta make sure you get the ones with the fancy gold gilded
edges though.

Also a really cool thing to do is to throw some copper pipe
and rubber hose into a fire. Makes lots of pretty colours.
Try it!

Also back on topic, when I go to bed at night my mind just
races with a random cacophony of thought. I like to throw on
recordings of rain and thunderstorms when I sleep, I find it
helps me relax and stop thinking.

LAZY_RAIN

ALSO something I just saw on the news the other night
regarding an interesting study recently conducted:

Electronic devices linked to sleep loss
