BTW everybody in the place...
If you like Burial , check out this guy TRG / dirty sonix ( myspace ) He is from Bucharest Romania . He also keeps that oldschool uptempo garage vibe in his dubstep tracks while still being dark and dirty (and sexy)
Fucking brilliant . Highly highly recomended!! The track "Horny" would tear up any clubb to pieces =)
He used to have a second media player further below on his page with some older tracks but he has removed them now =(
Oh well the current ones are awesome too.

hmm, well I listened and my initial thoughts are that this isn't too spectacular. It's basically the same as the first but not as good...it's as though he has tried to make something like the first, with 'tried' being the operative word. It lacks the rawness of a lot of the original.
There are a few stand out moments though.

This album is a definite grower. As my first exposure to burial, it took a while of getting used to. Dubstep, anyway, is quite new to me. Actually I'm still not sure what I think, the whole mix is so strange and rough and low key. I guess these are all qualities that contribute to why it has a unique charm.
I hate to admit it, but most of the songs sound very similar in my ears, even more than what I'm used to in dub artists. I guess his techniques are very specialized, and the style is very refined and/or limited. Perfect winter music, though, very atmospheric.
Love that INLAND EMPIRE sample.

Yeah its really not dubstep at all really. Although the definition of dubstep is very vague anyway - there's not much in the genre that sounds generic. I suppose a lot of these dubstep artists can be grouped by their influences, rather than their actual sound.
Apparently Burial doesn't use a sequencer, he just uses Soundforge (!). Respect.

Coup!
!K7 are buzzing on the announcement that the next installment in the DJ-Kicks series comes from the hugely acclaimed, underground dubstep producer BURIAL at the end of June. The South London producer is notoriously shy of press and public performances yet his last two albums on Kode 9's Hyperdub label have established him as one of the global leaders in this exploding scene on word-of-mouth alone.
The latest DJ Kicks from Four Tet, Henrik Schwarz, Booka Shade and Hot Chip have all pushed new limits in eclecticism, making linear genre-specific DJ mixes a thing of past... so who knows where Burial will take it next. We hear whisperings from the studio that he may treat his dearest dubstep, techno and even r'n'b tracks with his unique production style before mixing them with exclusive material and... well watch this space.
