Oh my. Another self portrait. You see, mimi, the
people who commented on this portrait find it engrossing. I
can actually look at this one a bit longer than the other.
Very potent.

====
I think that's part of the problem. This exploration of
"new
structure" or "structurelessness" disregards creating
emotions with music.
====

how does is new structure = structurelessness? you mean a
departure from OLD structure. Also, it in no way disregards
emotion; you're somehow viewing current music as maximizing
emotional content.. which is silly.

====
How about telling me how you feel with notes.
Yeah, how about that? And if their feelings are represented
by a tone cluster then I feel sorry for them.
====

You feel sorry for them because they experience things you
don't?

Anyway, the post is retarded and too easy to pick on. To be
more civil, the point is that departing from structural
tradition does not imply any of the things you suggest.
I'll agree that it happened in many ways, but it is in no
way NECESSARY. I think it's a very depressing world view
that the only way to apply to human ears is to continue the
old traditions with relatively minor variation.
Anyway, time for exercise bike and some sleep.

Where did MisterBrazilia go? I'm just dropping by to check

Lincoln soon so we may hang out some.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

plastic surgery, but she means well.

Needs more chic butt :) from ya.

MiMi, the contrast and composition in the most recent one,
wow, awesome. Even though you're centered in the picture,
the curve against those background angles - fantastic. Enter
this one in a contest or something. Also you look
disturbingly tall, like a snake that just got charmed up out
of a basket.

Thanks! It's because the lens distortion stretches me out.
I'm glad it looks ok on your monitor; my stuff isn't
anywhere near calibrated.
