Now you've backed off from your original position by using the word "necessarily". Good enough for me.

Sorry if I misread you buddy..
I'll readily agree that the Republicans have definitely abused their power, perhaps even to the extent of calling them 'evil' at times. Still, I find that some lefties like Hillary are equally power hungry and have more ulterior motives than we'll ever know. You seem to be more middle of the road than I first thought, and honestly I think thats the only reasonable position at this moment in time. I just wonder about folks who shack up with the Democrats simply because of the currupt right.. when I suspect the corruption flows both ways.

My original position was, and still is, that it being a woman or a man won't make any difference outside of it being two different persons. In other words, even though part of the difference between a woman and a man is that they are indeed different in being a woman vs being a man, but the main difference still consists in each one's separate history (which isn't unrelated to them being male or female, but there also isn't a necessary set path of development related to any sex/gender). It is also that the difference in this context most likely won't bee too big, which is a bad thing.

Bush has done a pretty good job, though. It's a shame Cheney isn't running for President.

Doesn't matter... Can we trust a woman to engage in relations with a nation that doesn't respect women?

Barack Obama said on CNN that he'd cut troops in Iraq in half, as and when he'd be elected. A morale-boosting magic show is just what they need.
The republicans now promise to cut the troop level by two-thirds by use of friendly fire. You can't possibly be losing a war if you kill more of your own forces than the enemy does.
Republicans 1 - Democrats 0
